Oben Rorr Electric Bike To Debut Tomorrow

Bengaluru-based Oben Electric is all set to step into the niche category of electric motorcycles with the Rorr. The EV will be launched tomorrow, and it will lock horns with the Tork Kratos and Revolt RV400.

Going by the official digital render, the Oben Electric Rorr seems sleek and features minimal body panels. The upcoming electric motorcycle doesn't get a sophisticated TFT console but an LCD unit with connectivity features via the Oben app.

The render also revealed that the Oben Electric Rorr will get a mid-mounted motor with a final belt drive. The company claims that the bike has a range of 200km; however, that's an ideal test condition figure, so expect the real-world number to be lower. 

Oben has provided the Rorr with a telescopic fork and monoshock to handle suspension duties, while disc brakes at both ends will take care of braking.

The Oben Electric Rorr could be priced at around Rs 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom, including subsidies). This bike will be followed by three more products that will debut over the next two years.
