It would unfair to give a verdict here as Honda Hornet has been discontinued. On the other hand, The TVS RTR 160 sports a relatively conservative design compared to the more aggressive Apache RTR 160 4V. However, its eyebrow-shaped DRLs and muscular fuel tank extensions add a bit of aggression to the otherwise staid design. Despite its age we must say that the Apache RTR 160 still is a handsome looking bike and the subtle updates have managed to keep the design fresh. Powering the TVS Apache RTR 160 is a 159.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 15.3PS of power at 8000rpm and 13.03Nm of torque at 6500rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed gearbox. While the styling has managed to remain contemporary, the motor has started to show its age, it isn’t as smooth and vibe free as the RTR 160 4V’s engine. The Apache RTR 160 is built on a double-cradle frame which is suspended upon conventional telescopic front forks and dual gas-charged rear shock absorbers. The braking setup comprises of a 270mm petal disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum unit at the rear (200mm disc optional). Its 17-inch wheels are shod with 90/90 front and 110/80 rear tubeless tyres. ABS has been given a miss here and isn’t even offered as an option. For braking, it gets a 270mm front petal disc and 130mm rear drum, with a 200mm rear disc available as an optional extra. Both bikes now get single channel ABS as standard. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

Both are equally better in their own special ways. The best way to choose one among this is, go and test drive both the bikes snd choose what you love the most. Have a happy snd safe ride buddy🤝❤
