    • As a owner of rtr 200 4v i am telling you why i chose rtr 200 over fz 25 and then i will tell you why you should opt for fz 25 so let's start with rtr's pros over fz's1.Exhaust note: exhaust note of both the bikes are music to the ear of a rider but in my personal opinion I think RTR's exhaust note is likely superior to that of FZ's 20 exhaust note2. handling characteristics: handling of bobber bikes is so good but RTR's handlingis slightly superior to that of FZ's handling due to the sporty nature of the bike3. suitability: as a short rider I prefer RTR's riding dynamics more than FZS because RTR footpegs is slightly closer to the seat than that of FZS foot pegs so it becomes specially comfortable for short riders while FZ is neutral to the the all size of riders4 pricing: as you know that RTR is is slightly cheaper than FZ and it fulfills my needs also so I preferred RTR over FZnow the points in which which FZ is ahead of RTR1. there is no replacement for displacement: yes it is true because when you will write FZ it will surely feel that it is 250 cc bike and when you will ride RTR then it will give feel of 200 cc bike that exactly it is so if you need more torquey engine more usable power than FZ is quite ahead2: engine refinement: both the bikes are very refined with negligible vibrations but when you're considering specifically for the refinement of the engine then Yamaha is is slightly ahead of TVS and this improves the fuel economy of the FZ i own Apache so I know that its mileage is slightly less than that of every despite of having a smaller engine and slightly less power it gives less mileage so if you love mileage FZ25 should be your pick3: suitability: as I have mentioned earlier that RTR is specially made for shorter riders and it doesn't fits well with the medium-sized rider and the taller riders but it is not the case with the FZ which suits well with all sizes of riders so if you are a rider on taller side FZ should be your pick4. value for money: in spite of RTR being cheaper it is the FZ that is more value for money because it gets bigger engine better mileage and it gets Fi and abs together in that price which is not the case with the RTR rs people because it's a vs model doesn't have Fi so you can not call it value for moneyfinal verdict: both the bikes are very good you cannot go wrong with either of the bikes now it boils down to your personal preference and some subjective opinion that which bike looks more more pleasing to you and which brand is your favourite and the main point is here that what is your budget thanks
    • Both bikes come with 5 gears. engine capacity is different though. I haven’t ridden FZ25. But FZ25 doesn’t comes with ABS and from the safety point of view RTR ABS is good. But few issues with RTR is its stock headlamp doesn’t have enough power for night view, though high beam has enough to see. It comes with Carb only with ABS. Carb seems to feel outdated in this 21st century. On the pros side, it has beautiful weight distribution, the bike feel perfectly balanced to manoeuvre in city traffic, catches 100kmph so sweetly and runs butter smooth. I’ve done 130kmph in my RTR 200 ABS. Instrument cluster has whole lot of information. You don’t need to watch wrist watch or take out your smartphone when you’re late for the office and stucked in the traffic. Clutch feels light (my friend who has Avenger Street 220 said he has got the feel and meaning of Slipper Clutch after riding my machine). FZ25 has refined engine with EFI. But it has ordinary instrument cluster, doesn’t comes with ABS. Bottom line: I would suggest you to wait till 2019 April, you’ll get lot of options to choose from. You’ll get all bikes with ABS and FI will also come in many bikes. Or else EFI will make its way in all bikes from 2020 to comply the BS6 norms. 2019 May also marks the production of BS6 engines from many brands. And if you can’t wait to rev the engine then you should buy RTR ABS as safely is more important than the refinement of EFI (RE Classic 350 the best selling motorcycle of the country still comes CV Carburettor, this has helped me to get my set of wheels).     • The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is a comfortable city bike with plenty of grunt and agility for a quick race off the traffic lights and to tackle some twisties as well. But the engine feels too strained out on the highway. Also, ergonomically, with the high-set footpegs, it’s a tight spot for someone taller than 5 feet 10 inches. Even the brakes fail to inspire confidence under hard braking. Luckily though, TVS does offer ABS as an option. On the other hand, the Yamaha FZ25 is a good option for someone looking for a daily commuter. It’s a lot more welcoming for tall riders as well, when compared to the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. Being a Yamaha, the FZ25 will prove to be reliable in the long run, looks smart and is a lot more frugal in the city. But the engine feels stressed at high speeds. Moreover, both the brakes and tyres don’t inspire confidence under hard braking either. We would suggest you to take a test ride in order to clear your all doubts.     • TVS Apache RTR 200 4V comes in 3 variants Standard, Fuel Injection and ABS. Standard and ABS variants share carburetor fuel system. TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition has a 197.75cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It has three variants Standard, Fuel Injection and ABS. ABS and Standard variants share carburetor fuel system which generates 20.5PS power and 18.1Nm torque whereas Fuel Injection variant produces 21ps power and 18.1Nm torque. The carburetor version is quite quicker and reachs 0-100kmph in 12.94 seconds and touches a top speed of 112.58kmph, on the other hand, Fi variant is more refined and reaches 0-100kmph 13.47 seconds and can touches top speed of 120kmph as claimed by the brand. It delivers a claimed mileage of 40.2 kmpl for Carburetor version and 44.1 kmpl for Fuel Injection version. Although, we have tested its mileage for both Carburetor & Fuel Injection version wherein Carburetor returned 40.2kmpl in the city and 38.4kmpl on the highway whereas, Fi variant returned 44.1kmpl in the city and 44.6kmpl on the highway.

Both the versions – Fi and Carb versions – are very similar to each other when it comes to riding dynamics, and even though both are suited to handle city duties a lot better than gulping down miles, they do have a very different set of skills when it comes to performance and fuel efficiency. Very surprisingly, if it’s performance that you seek, the carburetted version is the one we’d recommend and with the ABS it gets better braking abilities. It’s way more punchy and around the city, it will keep you thoroughly entertained in the way it can take off from signals. However, the Fi version claws back its advantage in top speed, refinement and fuel efficiency. It’s more comfortable sitting at higher speeds and has lower NVH levels while doing so. So, by that standard, for those with the propensity to go long distance riding, the Fi is a natural choice.
    • Good question dude..variants mean different form of a same thing.eg.bike with abs and with out...car with central lock and without.standard may be a varient upon which some features added...eg.. standard bike will have carberatur ..another varient fuel injection(see other answers)..ABS us antilock braking system which makes braking power distributed to wheels so that wheels don't get locked ..rear wheel Its a safety measure.. seen in bikes above 200cc.

Apart from that, the Bajaj is also a more well rounded motorcycle that does everything just right. The ride quality too is better on the Bajaj. So, if your daily riding consists more of city commutes, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is the way to go. On the other hand, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F, despite its age, still remains a value for money motorcycle, given the performance and features it has on offer. The motor isn’t the most refined one out there, but will plaster a grin on your face with its grunt. All in all, it still remains an aspirational motorcycle for Indian buyers.     • Its Apache for race turned fuel injection system ...dual channel abs ...low beam head lamps on engine start..a glide through city option(please see it)reart tyre with more rubber..sn excellent display with connectivity ....but can you forget pulsar 220 f in which we saw clip on handle bars rear disc with race design nearly a decade ago...with 50000rs less ...
    • 4v is better then 220f if you still like 220f then purchase 2nd hand bz new version of 220f has so many manufacturer defects. go for 1yr old model
