Suzuki has launched the 2019 Gixxer in India, and it’s available in three colour options: black, silver, and a blue-black dual-tone. Priced at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the bike features an all-new design, new split seat, LED headlight and tail light, and a revised digital instrument console. In terms of styling, the new 2019 Gixxer 150 gets a muscular fuel tank and sharp tank extensions, while the rear looks identical to its faired sibling.
The new bike draws power from a BS6-ready 155cc, fuel-injected engine that produces power figures identical to its faired sibling - 14.1PS at 8,000rpm and 14Nm at 6,000rpm - mated to a 5-speed transmission. On the mechanical front, the 2019 Gixxer borrows its suspension, braking setup, and tyres from the current-gen model.
You can book the 2019 Gixxer for a nominal amount ranging between Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000. Deliveries are expected to commence towards the end of July. The 2019 Gixxer competes with the Yamaha FZ-FI, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS 160.
