Q. Which one will be better between g310r and 310gs I own himalayan bs6 looking to buy between one of these
  • Both BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS are good bikes, however, selecting between the two would depend on your preference of the segment. If you are looking for a powerful and premium street naked bike which is absolutely a hoot to ride thanks to its great handling dynamics and offers decently punchy motor and incredible ride quality. However, it lags behind its competition when it comes to features, and the vibes really hold it back from being ridden at speeds that the engine can easily do. On the other hand, the G 310 GS offers comfortable upright ergos for touring, lighter weight and would be a brilliant option if you are looking for a bike with off-roading capabilities. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read More: - BMW G 310 R: Road Test Review - BMW G 310 GS BS6 vs KTM 390 Adventure: Which One Makes More Sense? - BMW G 310 GS vs BMW G 310 R
Q. Why should one consider a G 310 GS against a much cheaper and more powerful KTM 390 Duke which is already proven?
  • Good question but only if seen thru the lens of price and power. The baby GS offer much more in terms of its offroading ability. Were the KTM 390 available in an ADV avatar, the baby GS would have stood no chance.
  • 310 is a adventure bike if your traveling long distace go for 310 or else go for ktn simple
  • Because bmw started this adv touring segment.its ergonomics is better then ktm but ktm has more power then gs.u decide where you go often

Q. I am looking for a bike which is greate off road focused so that i can go in the mountains, I am confused between BMW G310GS and Himalayan, but the reliability issues are more with the Himalayan what should i do?
  • Comparatively in off-roading there are chances for damaging your bike. in which spare parts are cheaper in himalayan. for GS its going to dig your pocket for parts. but you can god dam relay on it.
  • Completely agree Himalayan is the bike to go for now own it for 2+ years but after 16 bikes I have found I feel.this is been the best for everything you need. Fantastic piece of work.
