Q. Which one better in terms of reliability, performance & maintenance in long term between Pulsar 125, Honda Shine & Super Splendor?
  • Yes agree Honda Shine but only if you have good roads. I think Super Splendour would be a better choice as ground clearance is 180mm and this helps a lot if idiotic speed breakers are there of you are in a tier 2/3 city/village roads. I had Conti GT 535 sold it due to an operation in my stomach and bought super splendour. Conti used to touch every where. It’s so irritating specially if you are with a pillion. Happy now.
  • I think Honda shine
Q. What is the difference between Pulsar Neon 125 and Pulsar 150 in terms of average?
  • If 150 gives more mileage than 125 then what is the use of 125cc pulsar? Usually higher cc engine gives less mileage. But you are saying125cc mileage is 62km/ltr and 150cc mileage is 65kms/ltr. How is it so?
  • Usually Higher cc engines gives less mileage than lowered cc engines. But here you have mentioned that 150cc gives more mileage than 125cc. Why is it so? Then what is the use of 125cc neon over 150cc neon.
Q. Which bike best between Pulsar 125 and Shine 125?
  • We would suggest you to opt for the Honda Shine, if you are looking for a bike with better fuel efficiency and a refined engine. The BS6 Shine gets a ACG starter motor, which offers extremely silent, almost noiseless starts and a start/stop switch. Powering the Honda is 125cc fuel-injected motor that makes 10.7PS of power and 11Nm of torque mated to a new 5-speed transmission.
