The Vida V1 Pro and the Vida V1 Plus marks Hero MotoCorp’s foray into the world of electric scooters. The Vida V1 Pro is the more premium offering of the two with a larger 3.94kWh capacity battery pack and a higher claimed real world range of 110km.
Vida V1 Price : The Hero Vida V1 is available in two variants – Vida V1 Plus priced at Rs 1,15,000 and the V1 Pro at Rs 1,45,900 (ex-showroom including FAME 2 subsidy).
Vida V1 Design : The Vida V1 gets an attractive design language with a combination of retro and futuristic styling. It features a sharp-looking fascia flaunting an LED headlight setup that looks like the face of a robot.
Features of Vida V1 : The Vida V1 flaunts a long list of features including a fully digital TFT touchscreen instrument console, customisable ride modes along with Eco, Ride and Sport modes, two-way throttle, cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, parking assist, emergency alert and key fob for keyless access. Apart from that, it also gets trip analytics, scooter diagnostics, regen, follow-me-home lights, anti-theft alarm and document storage.
Vida V1 Motor : Powered by a 6kW motor, the Hero Vida V1 Plus gets a 3.44kWh removable battery pack, which offers a claimed Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 143km. The V1 Pro gets a slightly bigger 3.94kWh removable battery pack and has an impressive IDC range of 165km.
Vida V1 Suspension, Brakes & Other Details : It features a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup with a disc brake up front and a drum at the rear for braking. It has a ground clearance of 155mm and seat height of 780mm.
Vida V1 Rivals : The Hero Vida V1 rivals the Ampere Nexus, TVS iQube Electric, Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro, Bajaj Chetak and the Simple One.
Vida V1 Variants : The Hero Vida V1 is available in two Variants – Vida V1 Plus priced at Rs 1,35,705 and the V1 Pro at Rs 1,46,880 (ex-showroom Delhi, including FAME II and State subsidies).

Purchasing the Vida V1 from Hero was driven by my intrigue towards its AI driven features and robust build. The scooter comes in two variants and I went with the Plus model which boasts a 3.94 kWh lithium ion battery, offering an impressive range of up to 165 km on a single charge and supports fast charging too something I absolutely love.Navigating through traffic is smooth thanks to its connected features and crisp acceleration. But where it truly impresses is its regenerative braking system, which adds to the battery life while on the move.

0Decent scooter but expensive
It is a well balanced scooter with fun to ride and the braking capability is good enough and is quite good. I think this level of performance is more than enough for the city and in the sport mode the acceleration between 20 to 50 kmph is strong and is a feature rich electric scooter but the range could be more according to the price. It comes with the removable battery and is very comfortable with the decent suspension setup but is not value for money with the price.
