Recently i rode a new honda 125 cc bike and i could share my views.Pro's : good quality built.Effective breaking manageable weight.Con's : harsh engine sound all -up gear system - difficult to bring down the gears in traffic. One down and 4up gear system would be ideal. No gear indicators. No separate switch for high beam light.Only a pass-by option is there.

Honda SP 125 Is An All-rounder

Honda SP 125 is a great all-in-one bike from Honda. So it has a good reliability engine and also it gives good mileage of more than 65+ but it's not stable at high speeds and it's not a big con if you don't go on high speeds. It has thin tyres compared to other 125-segment bikes. But still, it's not a big problem if you don't do a cornering like close to touching the road. If you ride it gently then it's one of the finest sporty-look family bikes. It has a matte black color that looks amazing and the color doesn't fade out easily it doesn't have any graphics for this colored model. It has a digital meter with a trip a and b, an odometer, a side stands indicator, a service indicator, speed and fuel measurements, and time. It has an engine switch button and then a passing switch of a light. It's an all-rounder with big and comfortable seating for a family with a saree guard and chain guard helpful for family ladies and it barely costs around just 1 lakh. Honda SP 125 is a tough competitor with a reliable engine in the 125cc segment with a good exchange rate, sales and after-service, and features loaded.

Only 3 days have passed

5.0

only 3 days have passed experiencing the sp125 disc version. my (single ride) use as daily commute 35.4 + 35.4 (=70.8) kms on a fixed Highway route. it gives me 70.8 kmpl besides 50-60 KMPH smooth variable speed. what is exciting, it's mileage is increasing each and everyday run. and I'll update the same next time according to usage. Within city I found 64 + kmpl. I ve on ride video recodings (in spells) as proof of test result. smooth engine start, minimum noise during ride, excellent pick up and braking mechanism, masculine look, great aerodynamic design, cool smart digital instrument console, good LED headlight and marking light electrical system and offcourse great mileage as stated earlier. M totally happy and somehow feeling thankful to a person who himself suggested this honda product though he owns a hero passion pro bs6 for which he is not satisfied. the persons who need more info about my real-time experience over this bike performance must drop me queries into my mail a******8@yahoo.co

This Is A Great Bike

The SP 125 provides good mileage, pick-up, and top speed (a little more expected from a 125cc bike i.e.of around 110 km/hr). Despite being at top speed it doesn't vibrate that much or provides discomfort. I have gone on a long ride too of approximately 300km with a single break of 15-20 min (I didn't face any engine heating problems). It is giving mileage of around 70kmpl by riding at its full capacity and at normal capacity. The seat is also comfortable enough. According to the tire, the bike bending is good with a single person but can't handle the same bend with 2 persons. Its balance while bending is good (feels light and can be picked easily).

Cloudy weather

Everything is fine but some of the issues below need to be fixed.1.Led light is not powerful (only provided as usual)2.Dipper switch on steering is not provided (it is a big weakness or design error and it needs correction, As some states and areas in our india have very cloudy weather and this is most needed on highways).

Jaimin's SP 125 gives mileage of 69 kmpl
