Honda has launched the SP125 Sports Edition at Rs 90,567, which is a premium of Rs 550 over the disc variant of the standard model, which costs Rs 90,017 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings for this special edition model are now open and will be available at Honda Red Wing dealerships for a limited period of time, with exact details of the time period not being specified by Honda. Honda is offering a 10-year warranty package (3 years standard and 7 years as optional) for the SP125 Sports Edition.
Changes from the regular model include a new set of graphics across the body, orange rim stickers and a matte exhaust cover instead of the chrome exhaust cover on the regular model. It is available in two new colours: Heavy Grey Metallic and Decent Blue Metallic. The rest of the bike remains unchanged and as such, is powered by the same 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 10.8PS and 10.9Nm, working alongside a 5-speed gearbox. Features-wise, it gets a digital instrument console that displays real-time mileage, average mileage, distance to empty, service due indicator, gear position indicator and side-stand indicator. The Honda SP125’s rivals are the TVS Raider 125, Bajaj Pulsar NS125 and the Hero Glamour.
