I have a royal enfield interceptor

5.0

I have a royal enfield interceptor 650 which was purchased in 2020.The bike is serviced always at the royal enfield service centre at t junction. The advisor vishal madaye is always the best person to have your vehicle checked by.He will just on looking at the vehicle and hearing it for few minutes let you know what is needed to be done and provided the best solutions on how it can be done cheaper. He is a very friendly person and takes care of your vehicle like it is his own.Thank you vishal for doing a great job always while handling my interceptor maintenance.I serviced my bike at the royal enfield service centre at t junction and the bike was handed over to technician shivshankar rajak.Since i never leave my bike unattended i waited and watches the service. The bike was going through a full overall service and many parts had to be opened and cleaned.Shivshankar was doing a fantastic job and the way he was servicing the bike was like it was his own. This really touched me and i was very happy with the service.Good job shivshankar rajak.Keep up the good work.

Long rides

3.8

Positives: The bike has a good retro look. The headlamps have sufficient throw when dark. The engine is eager to move and is versatile - you can ride it both in a relaxed manner as well as in a sporty manner. The ride height is comfortable and getting on and off the bike is easy. The service interval is 1 year and charges are reasonable. Fit and Finish is good. Minor Negatives: The instrument cluster is very basic - it should have had a clock and gear position indicator. The bike is heavy to move around in a parking spot. The footpegs come in way while manoeuvring the bike at low speeds or in slow moving traffic. The bike is wide with exhaust on both sides and care needs to be taken in traffic. Seat is good for short rides - not so good for long rides.Overall, it is a very balanced and well made bike. One will enjoy the ownership experience. Royal Enfield can make this bike better by bringing small upgrades such as a clock, gear shift indicator and better seats

Excellent motor/

The build quality varies from the excellent motor/gear box to so-so chrome quality, Especially on the headlight nacelle. The performance improves as more miles are added and it has been 100% reliable. My mark 2 model is especially appealing as a retro style 650, With all the right cues…chrome tank, Twin upswept exhaust and little touches like the brake pedal that looks just like a right side gear shifter from the original royal enfields.Entirely modern with efi, Abs, Oil cooler, Front and rear drilled discs, Ss braided hydraulic lines, Easy cartridge oil filter, Center stand and good overall quality fit and finish.A great value in a world of over priced, Over equipped motorcycles.Really, Why jack up the price with super expensive brembo brakes on a bike that makes under 50 hp? the bybres are more than adequate…thank you royal enfield for bringing back good motorcycles at affordable prices!.

Urban Cruiser with Power

Thе Royal Enfiеld Intеrcеptor 650 is a blеnd of timеlеss dеsign and modеrn pеrformancе, pеrfеctly suitеd for urban cruising with addеd powеr. Its robust parallеl-twin еnginе dеlivеrs a spiritеd ridе, idеal for city strееts and long highway strеtchеs. Thе motorcyclе's classic yеt contеmporary dеsign, comfortablе sеating, and rеfinеd build quality makе it an еyе-catching prеsеncе on urban roads. Though additional modеrn fеaturеs could еnhancе its allurе, thе Intеrcеptor 650's rеliability, powеrful pеrformancе, and classic styling captivatе ridеrs sееking a blеnd of hеritagе and modеrnity in thеir urban cruising еxpеriеncе. The interceptor 650 is a mix between a cafe racer and a roadster, the impeccable power and control the bike1provides is insane in the price segment it is available, it gives the sense of power you should feel in a 6501cc bike, people might make fun of the mileage but once they have ridden the bike they will understand the1immense potential the bike has to offer.

Smooth like butter

4.2

The interceptor is a good long rider bike, City use is little bit difficult in heavy traffic (heat issue1mainly). But also you gets a smoother engine, No vibrations, Good power. All good expect the heat issue.

one the best performance i got in royal enfield so far so goodi used to daily commute the experience i got is1fabulous in city drivingAnd with a good exhaust the feel and performance is remarkable i use AWM exhaust the1base of that exhaust is amazing you can feel the base while tuning stage one tune you can gain meilage around125+but the worst experience i got is servicing every part are costly while buying from the showroom itself if1you want less cost you can go for aftermarket for touring it is best and performance perfect

Engine power

Need to improve build quality.Engine power and mileage are ok.But after an accident due to untrained professionals, Got fixed in bad manner even the engine was untouched in the accident. No one is able to fix the issue.90% re service centres having untrained professionals and workmanship.Gearbox issue is there even though there is slipper clutch. But power delivery is impressive and getting highway mileage upto 33kmpl and in bangalore’s city 14-18kmpl( i doubt petrol pump).

13000 kms and never disappointed

13000 kms and never disappointed me.The only problem is local shops are not so experienced on this and make blunders. Also the new models are perfected, Regrets.Never take to locals like seen on you tubes.

Performance us good, Some ergonomic

4.2

Performance us good, Some ergonomic issues are there, Bad thing is they are not focussing on it, I love to see a full performance oriented cafe racer with same engine continental gt

Happy to own an interceptor

4.2

Happy to own an interceptor for last one year and yes i have done some customisation to enhance it's looks along with performance. It's now running with a stage 2 remap from red band racing equipped with offtrails rally pro exhausts mated to direct pipe, Bmc open flow filter and ngk performance spark plug kits.Breaking duty is taken care by the ebc pads and handles well with pirelli rally str upsized tyres ( 110/90 & 150/70) on stock 18inch rims.I managed ro replace the rearsets with those of gt650.Delivers 200kms / 10ltrs in city riding conditions.Had couple of challenging situations where i had to claim warranty for the oil cooler unit and rr unit. But appreciate the support received from warrant and claims support department.

Best Engine Performance

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 my 3 years of ownership review. It is a proper retro-styled motorcycle, with Impressive build quality and gear shifts are smooth. Refined and exciting engine performance. Feels stable on highways, has an enjoyable soundtrack, and the motorcycle feels built to last. This bike is suitable for long-distance touring. Uncomfortable pillion ergonomics. Heavy machine, makes you tired after a few hours of riding. Problems I've encountered over the last 3 years. 1. Front end wobbles at 40km/hr ( wobbling noted after 2 years of usage) 2. Flat rear tire, I had to phone RSA for support ( alloys are preferred ).
