Triumph Bonneville 400 Spied Testing

Triumph’s iconic Bonneville line will soon get a smaller, more price accessible sibling. A test mule of the upcoming Bonneville 400 has been spotted overseas for the first time, and it clearly carries the look and feel of a scaled-down Bonneville.

A True Bonneville

The bike sticks to classic Triumph Bonneville styling with a teardrop tank, long fenders, and clean bodywork. At the same time, it gets modern bits like all-LED lighting from the Triumph 400 range. And just like its bigger siblings, it has a pea-shooter style exhaust, but blacked-out and single here. The riding triangle looks relaxed with centre-set footpegs, and a tall handlebar that’s closer to the rider.

Simple Hardware

Hardware stays true to the retro theme like the Triumph Bonneville T100: telescopic fork with gaiters and twin shocks. This should keep things comfortable and affordable. Globally, the bike is expected to use the same 398cc engine as the Triumph Speed T4 that churns out 31PS and 36Nm. For India though, the engine will be downsized to 350cc (thanks to GST 2.0) to hit a more competitive price point.

Launch Expectations

The Triumph Bonneville 350 is expected to arrive in India around June 2026, priced at roughly Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be squarely aimed at other retros in this space like the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350, and Jawa 350.
