The Scrambler 650 will get new MRF tyres that are seemingly inspired by the Pirelli Scorpion Rally STRs

The Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 has been spied testing once again and now we do have some of the finer details about the bike. The biggest talking point would be the tyres.

The test mule comes shod with MRF Nylorex-X tyres, ones that aren’t listed on the manufacturer’s website so Royal Enfield could’ve made them specifically for the Scrambler 650. As for its wheels, the front one seems to be larger, and it could be an 18-/17-inch spoke wheel setup, blacked-out of course.

These shots also gave us details about the bike’s console. While previous spy shots showed the semi-digital console we’ve seen on the Hunter 350, Meteor 350 and the Super Meteor 650, this one seems a bit different and it might even be a fully digital one. That said, the switchgear is still the same rotary one on this bike too.

And finally, the bike comes with a couple of accessories like machined aluminium touring mirrors, single-piece bench seat that looks very premium, a sturdy tail rack with saddle stay and soft panniers on both sides. Like all Royal Enfield bikes, expect this one to have a host of accessories to make it easy to munch miles on.

Other nifty bits include a blacked-out handlebar, headlight guard (which will come as accessory as seen earlier), a blacked-out powertrain with a small engine guard and an LED taillight that seems to be the one on the Super Meteor 650. The bike will be powered by the famed 648cc parallel-twin and output figures are expected to be in the ballpark of 47.6PS and 52Nm. We think the bike could debut around mid 2024 at around Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Its closest rival in our market then, would be the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 6 ½ Scrambler. As for its name, we think it could be called the Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 because of the manufacturer’s newest trademark
