Royal Enfield’s upcoming bikes’ list is an exciting and extensive one. The famed 650cc platform, especially, is all set to spawn as many as six models in addition to the Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor 650. And a recent trademark document has given us insight into what one of the bikes could be named.

The moniker ‘Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650’ has been applied for a trademark by the brand and we think it could be the name of the Scrambler 650. Its status is formalities chk pass, meaning it has been applied for successfully. What this name will primarily do, is be less confusing as Royal Enfield is already using the Scram moniker for the Scram 450.
As for the bike, it was first spotted in the UK last year and then in India for the first time too. Post that, we got details about its switchgear, the design language and instrument console.
These things said, Royal Enfield will be putting all these speculations to rest by launching the motorcycle, which should be somewhere towards the end of this year. As for its bike, we think it could be around the Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
