India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd registered a growth of 13 per cent in domestic sales in September 2015, over the same period last year.
The company sold 67267 units in September 2015 as against 59325 units sold in September last year.
“The incessant growth numbers are a sign of success of Yamaha’s robust business plan and strategic customer engagement programs. The month has ended on a very positive note for us as we launched the new variant of YZF–R15S and the color variants of FZ-S Fuel Injector version and FAZER Fuel Injector version.
“Ahead of the festive season, we are confident that our recent launches and innovative customer connect programs will garner major sales for us and we will be able to post some record numbers in the coming months,” said Roy Kurian, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd.
Yamaha continues to improve in exports numbers, registering a growth of 29 per cent in exports for September 2015, recording 15612 units as against 12076 units logged in September 2014.
