Price: The Keeway Hypevolt-R has been launched at Rs 1,99,000 (ex-showroom). The Hypevolt-R comes in two colour options: Crystal White and Platinum Grey.
Features: The Keeway Hypevolt-R is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display featuring Bluetooth connectivity. Safety features include traction control, dual-channel ABS, hill hold control, hill descent control, cruise control, and blind spot detection. There’s an all-LED lighting too. Additionally, it gets USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports to charge your phone.
Motor: It has a mid-mounted 12kW motor linked to a 5.04kWh battery pack which can be charged from 0 to 80% in about 3 hours.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Keeway Hypevolt-R comes with a conventional fork and dual shocks at the rear. Braking duties are handled by discs at both ends. The seat height is 770mm, and the ground clearance stands at 130mm – not ideal for Indian roads. It’s also on the heavier side, at 140kg(kerb). It rolls on 14-inch wheels wrapped with a 100/80 tyre up front and a 120/70 rubber at the rear.
Rivals: It rivals sporty, premium electric scooters such as the Ather 450 Apex, Simple Ultra, as well as the upcoming Ultraviolette Tesseract.
Range: The scooter has a claimed range of 180km
Charging Time: It charges from 0 to 80 in approximately 3 hours.
