Super premium Italian motorcycle maker makes official announcement about its foray into the Indian market, keen on tapping the potential at the top of the performance motorcycle market

MV Agusta Brand Launch

As a brand, MV Agusta needs no introduction to the enthusiast. It is one of the most exotic motorcycle makers in the world, known for its drop dead gorgeous, beautifully engineered, high performance machines. The brand entered the burgeoning CBU market in the country last year, softly launching itself as it set up operations in partnership with Pune-based Kinetic Group. The Kinetic Group again needs no introduction, being one of the oldest names in the two-wheeler business in India thanks to its iconic Kinetic Honda.

Having ensured things are in place, the Kinetic Group finally launched the MV Agusta brand today, at a formal launch event in Pune, under the Motoroyale banner, its new outfit. Present at the do were Ajinkya Firodia, MD, MV Agusta India Pvt Ltd and Judah Immanuel Sangaran, Far East Country Manager, MV Agusta S.p.A. MV Agusta is also announced the inauguration of its first official dealership in the country, located in Pune at the same time.

MV Agusta has launched a range of its exotic motorcycles in the country, all of which are acclaimed internationally for their beautiful design, brilliant engineering, supreme fit-finish and quality levels and of course excellent performance and handling. MV Agusta in fact claims its products have set new benchmarks in the upper echelons of the performance motorcycle market globally, with their class leading engineering and exciting performance.

MV Agusta Brutale 109

Its India product line-up currently includes its litre-class naked, the Brutale 1090, its litre-class superbike the F4 along with its super exotic variants like the F4 RR and F4 RC; all of which are powered by inline four-cylinder engines. MV Agusta will also be selling its middle-weight sportsbike, the F3 800 in India, powered by an inline triple-cylinder engine and its exotic variant, the F3 800 RC. More models are expected to be launched in the near future. MV Agusta will bring in the F3 800 via a semi-knocked down route, as per which Kinetic will be only mounting the engine onto the frame, while the rest of the motorcycle will be imported. Assembly of the MV Agusta motorcycles will take place at Kinetic's Ahemednagar facility.

MV Agusta also boasts a tremendous lineage in motorcycle racing internationally, having won several championships in MotoGP and WSBK both. The brand plans to ramp up its sales and service network in the country in the coming months, and expansion plans include dealerships across several key cities across the country alongside a well-thought of, premium after sales service experience.
