There are some of us who just can’t keep our bikes bone stock, and Royal Enfield owners in particular are famed for customising their motorcycles. The brand has picked up on this and will soon be rolling out multiple new accessories for its Interceptor and Continental GT 650.
The company’s online configurator contains 3 new sub-menus - Wheels, Luggage and Electrical - with the words ‘Coming Soon’ written alongside. This tells us that the brand could be introducing alloy wheels as an accessory for the 650s, just like it does with its 350 and 500cc models. The luggage section should include panniers and luggage racks, while the electrical accessories could be in the form of auxiliary lights.

Royal Enfield is one of the few manufacturers offering a comprehensive range of accessories in India, and we are glad to see the number of options grow even further. Quite a few accessories are already available for the 650s and the list includes crash protection, fly screens, various machined parts and a seat.
Both 650cc twins are powered by the same 648cc air-cooled parallel-twin motor producing 47.65PS and 52Nm. A double downtube frame holds the bikes together and is suspended on a conventional telescopic fork and twin shocks. The Continental GT is a cafe racer while the Interceptor is designed to be a retro roadster.
