After the all-new XPulse 200 4V and the Pleasure Plus XTec, Hero has now launched the Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition in India.

What’s The Price? Who Are Its Rivals?

It’s priced at Rs 1,16,660 and compared to the standard double-disc model priced at Rs 1,14,660 the Stealth Edition bears a premium of Rs 2,000. It competes against the 2022 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and the Yamaha FZ-X.

The Hero Xtreme 160R is now available in four variants: single disc, double disc, 100 Million and Stealth Edition.

The bike is draped in black and gets red rim tape and red highlights on the engine case and the fuel tank badge. While the dark theme certainly works off well on the commuter, the red accents complement its sinister look well. You also get 5-level brightness adjustability for the LCD console, a new gear position indicator and a new USB charging port under the handlebar.

It sports the same 163cc air-cooled motor with the output rated at 15.2PS and 14Nm. The engine is mated to the same 5-speed gearbox. 

The underpinnings have also been retained and the Stealth Edition is sprung by a 37mm telescopic fork and 7-step adjustable monoshock. The braking hardware consists of a 276mm front petal disc and a 220mm rear unit. 

Over the LCD console, LED illumination and side-stand engine cut-off features are the same as before.

The Hero Xtreme 160R still seems to have a lot to catch up on since its nemesis, the 2022 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, offers way more features for a similar price tag. Maybe the company could throw in some Bluetooth connectivity features. Hero, are you listening?
