E3 Trion electric scooter has been launched in India, from Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). E3 is a new Bangalore-based EV manufacturer, and here's everything about its new e-scooter:

E3 Trion

The E3 Trion is a futuristic-looking family electric scooter. On the front, it has two LED projector headlights that add to this appeal. It gets a short windscreen, behind which is a horizontal phone mount. The seat is long, and has a pillion grab rail or a back-rest, depending on the variant you pick. 

The scooter is available in six colour options: Solar Red, Misty Green, Graphite Grey, Nova Blue, Teal Blue, and Luna White.

Details

  • The base C1 variant gets a removable battery pack, while the C1X and C2 variants get a fixed battery pack.

  • The mid-spec C1X variant gets the highest claimed IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range, while the other two variants have lower claimed range figures.

  • The C1 and C1X get a 500 W/750 W charger, while the C2 gets a 750 W charger.

Details

  • The C1 variants are equipped with a smaller motor with a lower top speed, while the C2 variant gets a bigger motor with the highest top speed.

  • The C1 and C1X variants get 2 riding modes: Eco and Power, while the C2 adds an additional Sport mode for increased performance.

Features

E3 Trion

All variants are equipped with a 5-inch LCD console with all-LED lighting. The scooter has cruise control, hill hold assist, and a walk assist mode. The scooter also gets AI-based features like vehicle health scan, smart trip planner with charger locator, along with charging insights. The scooter will also get dashcam support, geo-fencing, live vehicle data, remote battery monitoring, and SOS assistance. Buyers will also get an extended warranty of up to 8 years or 1 lakh km.

Underpinnings

E3 Trion

The scooter rides on 14-inch wheels and gets a telescopic fork. Braking duties are handled by drum brakes on both ends.

In terms of practicality, the scooter gets a 52-litre combined storage space which includes the underseat storage, glove box, and the floorboard space.

Booking Details

Pre-bookings for the E3 Trion have started in Bangalore through the company's official website, with deliveries set to begin in September in Bangalore, followed by other cities soon.
