Ultraviolette X47 Crossover launched, comes with segment-first features
Introductory price of Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for first 1000 customers
Pre-bookings starts from today and the deliveries are expected to commence from October 2025
Bengaluru based EV manufacturer, Ultraviolette Automotive has launched the X47 Crossover in India, which is essentially the F77 but with long legs. Aviation enthusiasts will recognise the Northrop Grumman X-47B UAV reference here. It has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 2.49 lakh for the first 1000 customers, after which the e-bike will cost Rs 2.74 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). Note that this is the starting price, likely applicable to the base ‘Original’ variant, whereas the top ‘Recon’ version might be more expensive. There’s also a range-topping special edition variant called ‘Desert Wing’, which is essentially a fully-decked out X47 with an exclusive colour scheme. Whether it’s a limited-run variant or not is something the company hasn’t disclosed yet.

The Ultraviolette X47 Crossover is not a hardcore off-roader like the Shockwave, but is rather a road-biased touring-friendly motorcycle. Think of it like how the BMW XR series differs from the rugged GS models, and this one’s essentially an XR.
It sits taller than the F77 Recon, with a more upright stance for comfort on long rides and urban commutes. The motorcycle gets a distinctive front beak, knuckle guards, and extended side panels that add to its adventurous presence. Despite the fresh design cues, the X47 Crossover is unmistakably as futuristic as any Ultraviolette bike worth its salt would be.

The X47 Crossover carries several features from the already loaded F77 and also offers some new features:
‘Hypersense’ Radar Tech with up to 200m of tracking distance (read ADAS)
Blind spot mirrors
9 levels of regenerative braking
Front camera module with continuous recording (exclusive to the higher-end variants)
4 levels of Traction control
Dual channel ABS that’s also switchable
5-inch TFT console
The X47 Crossover debuts the brand's Hypersense technology, a rear-only radar-based ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) with blind spot detection, lane change assist, rear collision warning, and overtake alerts.
The bike also gets two digital screens, a main 5-inch TFT instrument cluster for speed, range, and ride data, and a secondary display dedicated to the ADAS and camera functions. Ultraviolette has also given the X47 a front camera module which can continuously record a 120 degree field of view, adding up to its sense of safety. This one however, might be standard only on the top Recon variant.

Other than this, it comes with all new convenience features like an onboard 1.6 kW charger with surge and leakage protection, eliminating the need of carrying a portable charger with a bulky brick.

7.1kWh and 10.3kWh battery pack options
30kW motor with 610Nm (at the wheel)
Maximum claimed IDC (Indian driving condition) range of 323km
0 to 60kmph in 2.7-seconds and 0 to 100kmph in 8.1-seconds (both claimed)
The claimed top-speed is 145kmph
The X47 Crossover uses the same battery pack and motor as the F77, but with slightly different tuning, it now produces an impressive torque figure of 610Nm at the wheel. Note that the more affordable 7.1kWh battery pack model comes with a claimed range of 211km.

17-inch alloy wheels at both ends
USD fork and rear preload adjustable monoshock (is different from the F77)
320mm front and 230mm rear disc brake setup
Ultraviolette has given the X47 Crossover a brand new cast aluminium subframe, and just like the F77, the X47 also runs on 17-inch alloy wheels. But unlike the F77, it uses block pattern tyres, which not only suit its overall appearance but also makes it slightly more capable on bad patches of roads. The braking setup, too, is similar to the F77 and should ensure good overall braking performance.
The brand has also announced that the deliveries will commence from October 2025, with the pre-bookings starting today September 23, 2025 at a price of Rs 999. With the X47 Crossover, Ultraviolette has showcased a motorcycle that combines everyday usability with adventurous styling. It signals the company’s ambition to go beyond just sporty urban machines, and is the right stepping stone for the brand towards making a proper, full-fledged adventure bike.
The X47 Crossover now sits as a perfect option for people who want a quick electric bike, with comfortable ergonomics, and a dependable range not only for daily commutes but also for the weekend breakfast rides. More importantly, the fact that the X47 being a lot more affordable than the F77 is simply the perfect cherry on the cake. Pre-bookings for the Ultraviolette X-47 Desert Wing Special Edition, are open at Rs 4,999.
