Bajaj has launched the 2026 Avenger 220 Street in India. Priced at Rs 1,30,172 (ex-showroom), it costs the same as its sibling – 220 Cruise. Since the Avenger 160 has been discontinued, these are the most affordable cruisers in India.

Apart from the higher price tag, and the E20 compliance, the Bajaj Avenger 220 Street hasn't changed much. It has the same 220cc air and oil-cooled engine that produces 19.03PS and 17.55Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike features a 280mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear drum brake, with single-channel ABS. It has a low-slung riding stance, making it quite comfortable for city rides as well as on the highway

Features like dual-channel ABS, smartphone connectivity, and LED lighting would have made it an even better proposition. However, its styling is quite unique in the segment. The Avenger 220 Street remains a decent choice if you are looking for a bike with relaxed ergonomics.
