TVS Apache RTX 300 Exhaust Note And Seat Height: Watch Video

TVS recently launched its first adventure motorcycle, the Apache RTX 300, which starts from Rs 1.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.34 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Let’s have a look at how the motorcycle sounds and riders of different statures fit on the motorcycle. 

All-New RT-XD4 Engine

Powering the new TVS Apache RTX 300 is the 300cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled RT-XD4 engine, producing 36PS and 28.5Nm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Ergonomics and Dimensions

Built on a split-trellis frame, the Apache RTX 300 weighs 180kg (kerb) and carries a 12.5-litre fuel tank. It gets a seat height of 835mm (which is fairly tall as compared to its rivals )and 200mm of ground clearance, offering a tall and upright riding stance, ideal for long rides.  

As we can see from the video, if you are someone who is on the shorter side (below 5’5”), it will be a bit of a challenge to get on and off the motorcycle. That said, one can always learn to ride tall motorcycles if they put their mind to it, and also a bit of practice.
