Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced a new Exclusive Edition of its best-selling Innova Hycross at Rs 32.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Exclusive Edition is based on the ZX (O) variant of the hybrid powertrain and offers slight cosmetic upgrades and a premium touch without any mechanical updates.
This new trim is derived from the ZX (O) strong-hybrid model and receives a number of cosmetic changes:
Contrasting black roof with dual-tone exterior colour schemes
Black treatment to the front bumper, grille, ORVMs, and rear number plate garnish
'Exclusive Edition' badging on the rear tailgate
New dashboard trim and dual-tone chestnut-black seats
The updates are obviously targeted at buyers who need a more premium, stylish interpretation of the proven Hycross formula.

Toyota has also included some extra equipment as part of the Exclusive Edition package:
Wireless charger
Air Purifier
TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System)
All on top of the already nicely equipped ZX (O) variant, which comes with ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, 10-inch touchscreen, 9-speaker JBL sound system, and ADAS features such as lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring.

Mechanically, the Exclusive Edition is the same as the ZX (O) version. That entails it being equipped with the same 2-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine, with an e-CVT transmission. The combination provides a good balance of performance and fuel efficiency, which has been one of the Hycross's positives.

Priced at Rs 32.58 lakh, the Exclusive Edition occupies the very pinnacle of the Hycross range and is sold only in 7-seater guise.

As opposed to permanent trims, Toyota will offer the Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition for a limited period: May to July 2025. Toyota has not said how many units they will have, but anticipates quantities small enough to have an 'exclusive' meaning.
With the Exclusive Edition, Toyota is obviously appealing to customers who desire a splash of individuality and refinement, without sacrificing the practicality and hybrid efficiency the Hycross is renowned for. It's a quiet upgrade, but one that might ring true with urban customers seeking something a little bit more special in the MPV segment.
