Skoda Cars In 2026

We all know that Skoda cars offer one of the best combinations of performance and sophistication in the market while also not skimping out on modern features, a spacious cabin, and top-notch safety. If you’re in the market today to buy a car that delivers everyday usability along with the exciting driving feel, Skoda is one of the first names that comes to mind.

We’re just in the first quarter of 2026, and Skoda has already laid out its plan for India this year, targeting more segments and polishing the current models in order to dethrone the best-sellers and offer the best package. These new models include facelifts, updated variants, a new batch of an imported sedan, and two other fresh launches.

Let's have a look at these new Skoda models that will hit the roads soon:

Skoda Kushaq Facelift

Expected Price: Rs. 11 lakh to 19 lakh (ex-showroom)

Launch Date: March 21

Skoda had revealed the first major facelift of its mid-size SUV, the Kushaq, earlier this year. The updated model boasts of subtle exterior changes, which included a new front fascia, refreshed rear profile, and new design for the alloy wheels. The list of features was never an issue with the Kushaq, but Skoda made the package even better with new segment-first features like rear massaging seats, a new digital instrument cluster and a panoramic sunroof.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift

Under the hood, the Kushaq remains unchanged with two turbo-petrol engine options, although what's new is a first-in-segment 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox for the 1-litre TSI engine. What’s left is how Skoda prices the new Kushaq and whether it attracts the expected crowd in order to dethrone segment leaders.

Prices for the new Kushaq will be announced on 21st March.

Skoda Slavia Facelift

Expected Price: Rs. 10.5 lakh to 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom)

Expected Launch: June

Skoda has been testing the Slavia facelift for quite some time now, and the launch seems to be close. Test mules have been spotted multiple times in India, hinting at a refreshed exterior design and new alloy wheels as well. The overall silhouette and dimensions of the car are expected to remain the same. On the inside, the overall dashboard should also remain the same, but it might see new trim pieces or updated colour schemes for the upholstery. In terms of features, the Slavia facelift is expected to borrow much of its equipment from the  Kushaq facelift, which might also include several segment-first features.

Skoda Slavia Facelift

The updated Slavia will most likely get the same two turbo-petrol engine options as the current model, but it is expected to feature the new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox for the 1-litre TSI engine. The 1.5-litre TSI engine will likely be offered with the 7-speed DSG only. Skoda is expected to reveal the new updated Slavia in the second quarter (Q2) of the year, with the launch happening soon after.

Skoda Kylaq Sportline

Expected Price: Rs 11.5 lakh to 14 lakh (ex-showroom)

Expected Launch: August

Skoda has confirmed that the Kylaq will be getting a new Sportline variant, which might as well be the choice of enthusiasts in the subcompact SUV segment. The Sportline variant on the Kylaq is expected to carry sporty design cues like blacked out alloy wheels, roof and ORVMs, , darkened taillights, and Skoda’s signature grille with a blacked out treatment. The interior might also see an all-black treatment, while the list of features might remain unchanged.

Skoda Kylaq

The car will most likely remain the same mechanically, continuing with the 1-litre TSI engine and is expected to be offered in both manual and automatic transmission options. Skoda has slated the reveal and launch of the Kylaq Sportline for the third quarter (Q3) of this year. This new variant might give the Kylaq an upper hand in being the most sporty offering in the sub-4m SUV segment.

Skoda had also recently launched a new Classic+ variant of the Kylaq to celebrate its first year in India. This shows the vast variant lineup, which makes the Kylaq appeal to a wider audience.

Skoda Octavia RS (New Batch)

Expected Price: Rs. 45 lakh to 50 lakh (ex-showroom)

Expected Launch: October

The Skoda Octavia RS is that performance sedan which every enthusiast craves. All generations of the Octavia RS have had a huge fan following, and the current model is no less popular either. The current-gen Octavia RS was introduced in India in 2025 and imported as a CBU (Completely Built-up Unit) with a limited batch of 100 units, all of which were sold out in just 20 minutes! Seeing this huge demand, Skoda has confirmed that it will be bringing a second batch of the Octavia RS for India in 2026.

Skoda Octavia RS

The Octavia RS is expected to be powered by the same 2-litre turbo petrol engine, mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The sedan goes from 0-100 kmph in 6.4 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph. The launch of the new batch of the Octavia RS in India has been planned for the fourth quarter (Q4) of this year by Skoda.

Skoda Superb Diesel

Expected Price: Rs. 55 lakh to 60 lakh (ex-showroom)

Expected Launch: October

The Skoda Superb Diesel is one of the most anticipated models by Skoda in India, which was also showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo in January 2025. The Superb has built a legacy for luxury and comfort in India, and paired with a powerful diesel engine and a feature-rich cabin, the Superb has its fair share of fans. However, while the sedan was axed a few years ago due to stricter emission norms, Skoda is now considering bringing back its diesel engine with the latest generation of Superb to India.

Skoda Superb

The Superb Diesel has been spotted in India without camouflage multiple times, which increases excitement among enthusiasts and prospective buyers. Skoda is expected to launch the new Superb by importing it as a CBU in India.

The premium sedan is expected to be powered by a 2-litre TDI diesel engine paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

Skoda Kodiaq RS

Expected Price: Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom)

Expected Launch: June

Enthusiasts in India really love the Octavia RS, but what if you want the same performance-oriented dynamics, but with a commanding driving position and a 7-seater configuration? Skoda might have just heard your prayers and has confirmed the launch of the Kodiaq RS in India.

Skoda Kodiaq RS

The Kodiaq RS is a sportier iteration of the standard Kodiaq, which will have a host of exterior, interior and powertrain updates. On the outside, the Kodiaq RS boasts a sporty look with restyled bumpers, black design accents on the roof rails and window frames, Skoda’s signature grille with a blacked-out treatment, and new 20-inch alloy wheels with red brake callipers. On the inside, it is expected to feature an all-black cabin with red contrast stitching and RS-branded sport seats. In terms of features, it could borrow most of its equipment from the standard Kodiaq, along with a few new exclusive features as well.

Skoda Kodiaq RS

Doing power duties on the Kodiaq RS could be the same 2-litre turbo petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox, but it will most likely be offered with a different and higher state of tune, providing a major performance boost over the standard model. Skoda is likely to launch the Kodiaq RS in India during the second quarter (Q2) of the year in limited numbers. When on sale, it will be the brand’s flagship for the Indian market.

ZigSays…

Skoda’s plan for 2026 seems clear, catering to the audience who are keen on performance and offering the best of it in every segment that they target with their diverse models planned for India. While Skoda has also confirmed that they have put their EV plans on hold till the time EV policy is stabilised in India, which means that products like the Skoda Elroq and the Enyaq will have to wait. Skoda is also actively working on improving the aftersales, and with the recent India-EU FTA deal in the picture, some parts are also expected to drop in value, which could ultimately make ownership more economical.

That being said, all the models look promising, and with the right price and market positioning, they have the stamina to appeal to a wider audience and attract sales, which will help them to gain a better market share.
