One of the most-awaited launches of this year, the 2025 Skoda Octavia RS, has already sold out before launch. Skoda will announce the prices of the performance sedan on October 17, as we had reported before. If you wanted one of the 100 units being brought, here is all you will be missing out on:

A Head-Turning Exterior

The exterior of the Octavia RS has many new additions over the regular car. At the front, it gets a blacked-out butterfly grille and sporty bumpers. In the side profile, it features 18-inch alloys and a lower ride height for a hunkered-down stance. At the rear, it gets a new bumper with vertical air slats on either side to improve aerodynamics. Exterior colour options for the new Octavia RS include Mamba Green, Magic Black, Race Blue, Candy White and Velvet Red.

Cool Interior

Continuing with the RS theme, the Octavia RS also gets special interior bits to set it apart from the standard car. While the dashboard layout remains the same, Skoda has added sport seats with heavier bolstering for additional support. The interior also comes finished in an all-black shade with a mix of suede and leather. There are also stainless steel pedal covers and a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel.

Packed With Features

The equipment list of the Octavia RS includes features such as a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system with ChatGPT AI Assistant, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, three-zone climate control, 12-speaker 675W Canton sound system, wireless smartphone charger and ambient lighting.

In terms of safety, the Octavia RS comes equipped with features such as 10 airbags, an ADAS suite, electronic stability control, electronic differential lock, anti-slip regulation and all-wheel disc brakes.

Fire Power: Powertrain

Under the hood, the Octavia RS is powered by a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 265HP and 370Nm. This is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Here are the specifications of the Octavia RS:

Rivals Who?

When it goes on sale, the Octavia RS will rival other sporty cars like the Mini Cooper S and Volkswagen Golf GTI. Notably, it also competes with entry-level luxury sedans like the Mercedes-Benz A-Class and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe.
