Mid-week blues are definitely a thing, and to cure you of yours, we have a new spy shot of the all-new Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 bobber, flaunting an accessory pillion seat.
Keep in mind that this is not the first sighting of the pillion seat, but it is the first one without any other accessories involved. As you can see, the subframe of the Shotgun 350 is similar to that of the Meteor 350. Interestingly, the raised pillion seat looks sleeker and should be easily removable for a proper single-seat bobber appeal.
We already know that in terms of design, the Shotgun 350 looks almost the same as the Classic 350, except that this bike features apehanger handlebars, sporty white-walled tyres and a wheel-attached rear fender. Another thing to notice is the chrome LED turn indicators that look pretty sleek, and which may even come as standard, something we’ll find out soon.
Powering this bobber will be the same J-series 349cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 20.2PS and 27Nm, as on the Classic 350, Meteor 350 and Hunter 350. However, the ignition mapping is expected to be different. Oh, and a recent video on the internet has shown us what the upcoming bobber might sound like. Check it out here.
Even though the test mule looks production-ready, the launch of the Shotgun 350 is expected to happen in mid-2024. It could come bearing an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 2.2 lakh, and will go up against the likes of the Jawa Perak and 42 Bobber.
