The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N is set to be launched soon, and it’s shaping up to be a truly feature-packed SUV. A new leaked document has given us more details about the Scorpio N, including its dimensions and safety equipment. The new SUV is expected to be priced from Rs 12 lakh onwards, as an alternative to similarly priced SUVs such as the Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta and Alcazar and Volkswagen Taigun.

According to the new leak, the Scorpio N will get equipment such as steering mounted controls for cruise control, menu and audio; dual USB ports in the centre console, an infotainment touchscreen (8-inches, similar to the base XUV700 MX), wireless phone charger and dual-zone climate control.
In addition, the four-wheel drive (4WD) equipped Scorpio variants will get a shift-on-fly 4WD system with a dial on the centre console to switch between four-high, four-low and four different drive modes. The SUV will also be equipped with a hill descent control system and tyre fill assist, a feature which notifies you when the correct tyre pressures have been reached during a fill-up.
The second row passengers will get the convenience of a USB type C charger and rear AC vents with blower speed control.

It’ll also be loaded to the gills with safety features, and front and rear parking sensors and front/rear cameras (part of the 360-degree camera system) have been detailed in the leaked document.
From previous spy reports and teasers, we already know that the Scorpio N will come with features such as an electric sunroof, a Sony sound system, Alexa connectivity and Mahindra’s Adrenox infotainment system. On the safety front, it’ll offer up to six airbags and the aforementioned parking sensors and 360-degree camera.

The 2022 Scorpio N’s dimensions reveal that it’ll be a substantial SUV, and here’s how it compares with some of its similarly priced competition:
