Chinese bikes have grabbed the limelight at this year's Auto Expo. MotoVault is one of the brands with quite an interesting, diverse lineup of two-wheelers. It showcased bikes from all the three brands in its ambit: QJ Motor, Zontes and Moto Morini. Here's the lowdown.

First up from the Chinese bikemaker QJ Motor is the SCR 125, essentially a 124cc single-cylinder bike. While the engine is a puny one, it gets properly chunky underpinnings, and the design is in line with American cruisers. The roomy floorboards, tank-mounted fuel gauge, and dual-end exhaust can complete the cruiser look

This muscular cruiser is another 125cc bike from QJ Motor, which takes design inspiration from the *cough* Ducati Scrambler *cough* the SRV300. It gets a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine making 14.7PS and 12.1Nm, paired to a six-speed gearbox. Not too shabby for an entry-level bike, is it?
Apart from the above-mentioned motorcycles, QJ Motor also showcased its existing Indian portfolio at Auto Expo 2023 including SRK 400, SRV 300, SRC 500 and SRC 250.

With a pretty solid and smooth-flowing design language, the Zontes S350 was quite an eye catcher at this year’s expo. It looks like a smaller Ducati Diavel with a 348cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine belting out an impressive 38.8PS and 32.8Nm. It even flaunts a single sided swingarm - something you don’t often see on small-capacity motorcycles. Royal Enfield Meteor 350, beware!

A 200cc Supermoto? That is the appeal the QJ U1 200 is going for with a radical and stunning design, complimented by dual-purpose tyres. It is powered by a 198cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine making 21.5PS and 19Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. A perfect rival to the Hero XPulse 200T 4V, isn’t it?

The QJ 350E is the only scooter entry by Moto Vault at Auto Expo this year; and let us just say, it is quite a menacing looking maxi scooter. It’s got a big and proper maxi scooter styling, accompanied by a 349cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, churning out 36.2PS and 38Nm. The 350E is quite the package.
Additionally, Zontes also showcased the 350R, GK350, 350X and 350T motorcycles, which are already launched in India, at this year’s expo.
The Italian manufacturer was present at the Auto Expo 2023 as well and showcased its existing products including the Seiemmezzo 6 ½ and the X-Cape 650.
Sadly, all the showcased bikes are here just to gauge the audience interest, so expect only some of them to be launched sometime in the future.
