This year’s highly anticipated motor show, EICMA 2022 concluded, and a bunch of new and exciting products graced Milan. Here’s a lowdown on the best bits from the show:  

Royal Enfield

The Indian two-wheeler unveiled its highly anticipated Super Meteor 650. But that was not the only exciting part. Royal Enfield also showcased a custom Scrambler based on the Interceptor 650, which could be the preview for the Scrambler 650 that we spotted earlier this week in India.

Honda

Team Red had quite a few surprises at the Milan Show. Firstly, the brand made a comeback in the middleweight ADV segment with the CX750 Transalp, and also showcased the CL500 Scrambler based on the Rebel 500. Honda even sped up its EV onslaught in Europe with a new electric scooter.

Suzuki

Suzuki too intends to spice up the middleweight segment with the new GSX-8S and the V-Strom 800DE. These are based on an all-new platform and one of them could be debuting in India.

Ducati

Ducati concluded its World Ducati Premiere 2023 with the debut of the new Scrambler 800 series. The bike gets a bunch of changes including swappable body panels. Read this story for more details.

Benelli

The Itali-Chinese manufacturer is sprucing up its motorcycle lineup with a bunch of new products. From a new TNT 500 naked to a couple of ADVs, the brand has a pretty interesting lineup. Are they coming to India? Find out here.

While the Milan show frenzy continued through the week, there were a few interesting developments on the Indian soil too. QJ Motor not just confirmed its lineup for India and announced the date for their India debut. Another retro roadster heading to our shores is the BSA Gold Star which we spied near Pune.
