BSA Gold Star’s Deliveries Have Commenced

The BSA Gold Star’s launch last week marked the return of the iconic brand to the Indian two-wheeler market. And the deliveries of the retro roadster have commenced since then. The Gold Star is available at select dealerships across the country. 

The BSA Gold Star was launched with six colour options and here are the colour-wise prices of the bike:

The retro roadster gets gorgeous retro design lines all over with the round halogen headlight complementing the bike’s retro vibes very well. It is powered by a 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 45.6PS at 6500rpm and 55Nm at 4000rpm and comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and 5-step preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers. Braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm floating front disc and a 255mm rear disc (both with Brembo callipers) with dual-channel ABS available as standard. It has a seat height of 780mm and a kerb weight of 213kg.

In terms of features, the BSA Gold Star gets a dual pod semi-digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer and a tachometer in them with digital insets for odometer and fuel gauge readouts. It also gets a USB charging port, side stand sensor and an anti-theft engine immobiliser system. The BSA Gold Star rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Kawasaki Z650RS.
