The Tesseract is a maxi-styled scooter with a futuristic looking design. The scooter features a dual apron-mounted LED projector headlight setup, with floating DRLs. The scooter also has a chunky looking apron, and edgy side panels. Ultraviolette claims that the scooter’s design is inspired by attack helicopters. The scooter is offered in 4 colours: Stealth Black, Sunburst Sand, Sonic Pink, and Solar White.
The e-scooter is powered by a 15kW motor, it has a claimed top speed of 125kmph. The scooter has a claimed 0-60kmph acceleration timing of 2.9 seconds. The e-scooter will be offered in 3 variants and here’s a detailed breakdown of the battery packs and their ranges.

On the Tesseract 6, the battery takes less than an hour to charge from 0 to 80 percent under fast charging, likely for the base variant. The scooter also gets a 3 year or 75,000km warranty which can also be extended to 8 years or 200,000km. There’s an 8-year battery warranty as well.
When it comes to underpinnings, the scooter rolls on 14-inch wheels at both ends, with radial tyres. Braking duties are handled by a dual disc brake setup, with dual-channel ABS as standard (first in segment). In terms of features, the Tesseract has a 7-inch TFT console which offers customizability and connected features with an e-sim, along with a full-fledged navigation.
The scooter also offers a 34-litre underseat storage, with an additional 12-litre storage via optional panniers. Other than this, the scooter also gets a 2-level traction control system, 4-levels of dynamic regenerative braking, hill-hold, park assist. Another notable feature is the dual dashcam setup, with Violette AI integration.
The dual dashcam setup works in tandem with the segment-first onboard radar devices (at both ends) to form an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), offering collision warnings. This feature also has spatial awareness, with blindspot detection and overtake alerts. The mirrors on the scooter display the lane change and overtake assist alerts. It also gets a segment first haptic handlebar which vibrates, giving an early warning of collisions, overtakes and blind spots. Pretty neat, right?
The e-scooter also gets Remote Lockdown, Crash Alert, Daily Ride Stats, Advanced Ride Analytics, Movement/Fall and Towing Alerts, along with an Anti-Collision Warning System. Ultraviolette has also provided a wireless charging dock in the apron.
The Tesseract will go up against other premium electric scooters in the market like the Ola S1 Pro Plus and the Ather 450X. Bookings are open from today for a price of Rs 999, and the brand has also revealed that the deliveries of the scooter will begin from the first quarter of 2026. The final specifications of the variants will be revealed in Q4, 2025.
The Shockwave features a typical enduro design. It gets raised fenders, and an overall slim profile which is complimented by the rugged looking long travel suspension and dual-purpose tyres. The bike is offered in a single-seat configuration, with customers getting an option to upgrade to a dual-seat one. It is offered in two colours: Cosmic Black and Frost White. Bookings for the bike have also begun at Rs 999, and deliveries are set to begin from the first quarter of 2026.
The bike is powered by a mid-mounted motor which produces a peak power of 14.5PS and offers a claimed top speed of 120kmph. The e-bike has a claimed 0-60kmph acceleration timing of 2.9 seconds. The motor produces 505Nm at the wheel, putting it in the same league as that of the F77 while being much lighter. The e-bike has a claimed range of 165km.
The e-bike features a 37mm telescopic fork, with 200mm of wheel travel and a monoshock with 180mm wheel travel. It rolls on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear spoke wheel setup. The braking duties are handled by a 270mm front and 220mm rear petal disc setup. The bike has a kerb weight of 120kg, which is commendable for a bike in this segment.
In terms of features, the Shockwave gets a 4-level traction control system along with switchable ABS. It features a digital instrument console with LTE-based e-sim connectivity and Bluetooth pairing for smartphone integration. Other than this, the e-bike also gets a 6-level regenerative braking system.
Ultraviolette has also unveiled some of their upcoming riding gear as well. It includes new gloves called Striker One, which is a gesture control glove, allowing riders to interact with the bike’s features in the instrument cluster by hand gestures. Along with this, the brand has also unveiled a riding jacket called the Star-suit System Project, which allows the rider to adjust the cooling or heating up to 5 levels depending on the climatic conditions.
Overall, the Ultraviolette Tesseract looks quite promising and would make for a capable, practical and value-for-money premium electric scooter. The entry of the brand into the electric scooter segment will allow it to reach a wider range of customers than what they could have been able to do with the sporty Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 and the Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet.
That said, Ultraviolette will have to scale up substantially from 13 touch points across the country at the moment. This is where its primary rivaling brands, Ola Electric and Ather Energy have an advantage. Also, it goes without saying that we’ll reserve our final verdict of the electric scooter until we get a breakdown of the variant-wise specs and pricing. It’s just a matter of time, we say!
But what we are most excited about is Ultraviolette Shockwave. It will be Ultraviolette’s most affordable bike, and will also be a fun, modern, eco-friendly road-legal alternative to a 2-stroke offroad bike. Although the dual-sport segment is quite a niche space, it is still exciting to see an electric contender in what is so far an ICE dominated space with the Hero XPulse 200 as well as the XPulse 210 and also the Kawasaki KLX230. Alternatively, the Shockwave could also be the perfect green urban companion to conquer the concrete jungle, don’t you think?
