2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Launch Tomorrow: Top 5 Things To Know!

Tata is set to launch the Altroz facelift tomorrow, May 22, 2025. The facelift brings necessary upgrades, including new design elements for the exterior and a more sophisticated interior with a bunch of premium features. We expect Tata to retain the same powertrain options, giving you a wide range to choose from.

Design 

The Altroz’s face gets a new and sharper design that gives it an aggressive look. You get a refreshed grille which looks stylish and features gloss black inserts. The bumper also looks cleaner now, and the LED lights get a new design, a sleeker one. 

The silhouette of the hatchback has been retained, but the profile looks different with the newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear end now sports connected LED tail lights that look well-integrated and will appeal to the buyers who like the trendy connected setup. Gloss black accents and aggressively styled bumpers round off the overall design. 

Interior And Features

The interior has received a proper refresh and now looks more welcoming and modern. The most prominent upgrade is with the displays, as you now get dual 10.25-inch units consisting of the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital driver’s display. The single-pane sunroof lets plenty of light enter, while the new illuminated steering wheel helps the Altroz keep up with the modern Tata cars. 

Furthermore, it also sports a new colour scheme for the upholstery and gets a nice ambient lighting strip running across your dashboard. 

Talking about other features onboard, you get a wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, an auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, automatic climate control, connected car features, an air purifier, 6 airbags as standard, ESC, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a premium sound system. 

Powertrain 

Specifications are yet to be disclosed, but we expect things to remain the same as the pre-facelift Altroz. It will probably continue to get the same 1.2-litre NA petrol, 1.2-litre petrol + CNG, and the 1.5-litre diesel engine. The transmission options will include a manual gearbox and a DCT gearbox. The CNG is likely to come only with a manual transmission. 

Price And Rivals 

The facelifted Tata Altroz is likely to be priced from around the Rs 7 lakh mark.

It will continue to lock horns with contenders such as the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Toyota Glanza.
