The new-generation Honda Amaze will be launched on December 4, 2024 and ahead of its launch, the Japanese carmaker has given us a glimpse of the cabin through its latest reveal. The official teaser sketches showcased an Elevate-like interior and also gave us hints of some of the features that could be available with the new Amaze.
In this article, we take a look at the expected features that the new Amaze could get over the existing model. The list also includes a premium safety feature which, if introduced with the Amaze, could make the entry-level sedan the first in its segment to get it.
Let’s take a look at the 10 features:
The current model of the Amaze comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and we expect the new one to get at least an 8-inch unit. At present, the Amaze gets wired Apple carplay and Android Auto, but with the larger unit you can get wireless connectivity for the same.

The cabin sketch showcased the new Amaze getting a semi-digital driver’s display which is offered with the City and Elevate. This existing model gets analogue dials with a multi-information display. The new cluster will provide more information and controls to the driver, as well as add a modern touch to the cabin.

With the new Dzire being offered with a single-pane sunroof, there are high chances that the premium feature will be offered with the upcoming Amaze as well. It will likely be offered with the top-spec variant only and will surely attract more customers since there is a high demand and craze for this feature in India.

We are confident that a wireless phone charger will be offered with the new Amaze in its top-spec variants, because in the outgoing model, it was available as an accessory. This feature provides a more seamless charging experience and also reduces the clutter of wires in the centre console.

The Amaze which is on sale at the moment comes with as many as 4 main speakers. However, with the new new-gen model, we expect Honda to add two more speakers (likely tweeters) inside the cabin for a more superior audio experience.
With the amount of heat that we get in India during summers, it is a good thing that more and more carmakers are offering rear AC vents right from their entry-level vehicles. This feature will most probably be offered with the new Amaze, making the rear occupants less dependent on front AC vents for cooling.

With more buyers getting well-informed about purchasing a safe car and the safety protocols becoming more stringent, automakers have started to offer 6 airbags as standard across all variants. In the new version, we expect Honda to offer this necessary safety feature right from the base-spec variant.
Advanced Driver Assistance System, also known as ADAS, features a host of active driver aids including lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot detection. The new Amaze’s design sketch has already revealed the inclusion of a lane-keep assist inside the entry-level sedan. The addition of the same will make the Amaze the first in its segment to get this premium feature.

Lane watch camera gives the driver a view of the cars coming from behind (left side), displayed on the infotainment system. This safety feature makes changing lanes much safer and eliminates the possibility of a vehicle being caught in the blind spot. The new Amaze could get this safety equipment.

Another safety feature on the list is the Electronic Stability Control or ESC. We expect Honda to offer it as standard across all variants with the new Amaze. This necessary feature reduces the chance of the vehicle skidding under low grip conditions, and brings more control over corners and during hard braking.

The prices of the new Honda Amaze will be revealed on December 4, where we expect it to be priced from around Rs 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It will lock horns with the new Maruti Dzire, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura. For more details about the upcoming Honda Amaze, head over to our story.
