The newly launched Honda Amaze comes equipped with a host of modern features, making it a strong contender in the sub-compact sedan segment, including rivals like the Tata Tigor. While the Tigor offers a decent feature set, the Amaze takes the lead with several advanced additions. Here’s a list highlighting all the features where the Honda sedan excels over its Tata rival:
Both sedans feature LED DRLs accentuating their headlights, but the Honda Amaze gets LED projector headlights, while the Tigor uses halogen projectors. The LEDs on the Amaze provide better illumination, improved visibility at night, and a more premium look compared to the halogen setup on the Tigor.

The Amaze is equipped with LED foglamps, which offer better brightness and energy efficiency compared to the halogen foglamps on the Tigor, ensuring improved visibility in adverse weather conditions.

The 2024 Amaze gets an 8-inch infotainment display. In comparison, the Tigor features a slightly smaller 7-inch unit for the same. Both the cars have support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Honda Amaze’s infotainment supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, eliminating the need for cables, whereas the Tigor still requires a wired connection for smartphone integration.

Paddle shifters in the Amaze, exclusive to its CVT variants, allow drivers to shift gears manually without taking their hands off the steering wheel, a feature missing in the Tigor altogether.

The Amaze includes a wireless phone charger for added convenience, while the Tigor lacks this modern utility feature. This increases convenience for passengers reducing wire clutters in charging their devices on the go.

Rear AC vents in the Amaze enhance cabin cooling for passengers in the back seat, hence pushing the car’s practicality quotient. This nifty feature is however absent in the Tata Tigor.

The new Amaze does not compromise on the safety bit. It gets six airbags as standard across the three trims. In comparison, the Tigor only gets dual airbags across all the variants.

The Tigor misses out on ESC from its safety suite. The same in Amaze helps in maintaining vehicle stability during sudden manoeuvres.

The Amaze has hill start assist which prevents rollback on inclines, adding convenience and safety, especially during uphill drives, a function which is missed in the Tigor.

The Amaze is equipped with connected car features that provide remote access and advanced telematics, giving it an edge over the Tigor, which lacks this connectivity.

The Honda Amaze gets segment-first ADAS (camera-based only) features, including collision mitigation braking and adaptive cruise control. No other car in this category including the Tigor gets this.
