Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) were once unheard of in the mass-market segment. However, with carmakers giving more priority to safety nowadays, the ADAS suite is being offered as a mass-market option.
In this report, we examine the top 5 cars priced under Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) that come equipped with a suite of ADAS features. We have included cars from different segments, which means there is something for everyone, irrespective of the budget or segment they are looking for. Stay till the end as we also have a bonus mention! Hint: It’s an upcoming EV from a very popular Indian carmaker…
The 2025 Honda Amaze brings Honda SENSING (Honda’s ADAS suite) to the subcompact sedan segment. None of its rivals, including the Hyundai Aura and Maruti Dzire, get this feature, making the Amaze the most affordable sedan with ADAS. The Amaze’s ADAS features include adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking (AEB), lane-keep assist, and lane-departure warning.
The Amaze’s other top features include an 8-inch infotainment, a lane watch camera, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, and 6 airbags.
Honda offers ADAS with the Amaze in the top-spec ZX trim only, which starts at around Rs 10.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Maruti Victoris created history, becoming the first-ever Maruti to come with ADAS. The new compact SUV is loaded with Level-2 ADAS features. The suite consists of adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure prevention, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking (AEB).
It also has many other premium features, such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium 9-speaker Infinity sound system.
ADAS is offered from the ZXI Plus variants that are priced from slightly over Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Hyundai Creta is loaded with all sorts of features, and the Korean marque also introduced level-2 ADAS with the facelifted model of the Creta. The Creta’s ADAS suite features forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot collision avoidance, and adaptive cruise control.
The Creta’s comfort and tech list remains class-leading, with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and Bose sound system. Safety features include a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and ESC.
Hyundai offers ADAS from the SX Tech trims. So the prices for ADAS-loaded variants start from around Rs 16 lakh.

With the top-spec Windsor Pro, MG introduced a plethora of ADAS features that made the EV a safer option to consider. The Windsor EV has been the most popular electric SUV in the mass-market category, and with the Pro version, it became even more value-for-money.
It gets level-2 ADAS with features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning/prevention, and forward collision warning.
Apart from ADAS, the Windsor EV gets a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, six airbags, 360-degree cameras, ventilated seats, and ambient lighting.
MG offers ADAS with the Windsor Essence Pro variant, priced around Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).

Five years ago, no one would have imagined ADAS being offered with an off-roader like the Mahindra Thar. However, in 2024, Mahindra launched the 5-door Thar Roxx with level-2 ADAS, making the off-roader safer than ever.
The Roxx gets a plethora of ADAS features such as lane keep assist, auto emergency braking, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control. Other features offered with the Thar Roxx include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital cluster, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, and six airbags.
ADAS is offered from the AX3 L variant onwards, which costs around Rs 16.3 lakh (ex-showroom).

The upcoming Maruti e Vitara will be the brand’s first EV for India and will come with a full Level-2 ADAS suite.
Its ADAS features include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring.
In addition, the e Vitara will likely come with a 10.1-inch infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six airbags, connected car tech, a 10-way powered driver seat, a 360-degree camera, a branded audio system and multi-colour ambient lighting.
While pricing will be confirmed at launch, the e Vitara is expected to be launched from Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom). The e Vitara will be launched in December 2025.

If you’re eyeing a car under Rs 20 lakh with ADAS, there’s never been a better time to buy one. It is important to note that ADAS features are often limited to higher trims or automatic variants, so double-check the exact configuration before booking. While some ADAS features can be useful, it is important to understand how they work. So if you are planning to buy a car with ADAS, we suggest you first learn how various features perform.
ADAS has become useful, especially if you often travel on well-marked highways where the lanes are well indicated. ADAS features can also help prevent dangerous accidents and act as a second layer of safety. If the price difference between an ADAS and a non-ADAS variant is not much, then we recommend that you invest the extra money and get yourself a car with ADAS.
These features not only make your car feel safer, but features like lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control also make driving feel less tiring. However, it’s important to always keep an eye on the road at all times and not become overdependent on your car’s ADAS features.
