Ather Rizta Electric Scooter

Ather is all set to launch an all-new electric scooter called Rizta, a more family-oriented offering from the Bengaluru-based auto manufacturer. 

In a recent post, Ather took to Instagram to announce Ather Community Day on April 6, and the Rizta will also be launched on the same occasion. The Ather Rizta has already been teased a couple of times and packs some interesting hardware.

In a recent post, teased by comedian Anubhav Bassi on his Instagram page, we got a closer look at what the e-scooter looks like. Unlike the sporty Ather 450X, this one looks more family-friendly with a boxy design language. Check out the details here.

Making it the perfect household vehicle is the large seat, and it is expected to get the same 2.9kWh capacity battery pack, 5.4kW peak power output motor, and LCD instrument console from the Ather 450S. You can head to this story for more details on the specifications of the upcoming scooter.

The Ather Rizta is expected to come with a sticker price of about Rs 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom including FAME 2 subsidy). It will go up against the TVS iQube Electric and the Ola S1 X+.
