2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Teased: Check Out Its Revised Front And Digital Driver’s Display

Kia India has dropped the first teaser of the 2024 Sonet facelift ahead of its India debut on December 14. This will be the first facelift for Kia’s sub-4 metre SUV, which has been on sale since mid 2020. The teaser gives a glimpse of the facelifted Sonet’s front and a new feature that has been added to the model.

The Sonet’s redesigned fascia now features a reworked grille with new inserts and new LED headlights, whose DRLs now extend downwards. Below it is the new bumper that features sleek LED fog lamps and a skid plate. Save for the new alloys, no major changes are expected on its side profile.

Kia is yet to tease the rear of the India-spec Sonet. But based on earlier spy shots and leaked images, we can confirm it’ll get a new set of connected LED tail lamps inspired by the Seltos. 

2024 Kia Sonet Interior And Features

No major changes have been made to the Sonet’s dashboard design. However, from the teaser, we can discern that it will get the fully digital 10.25-inch driver’s display from the Seltos. Earlier test mules also featured a revised control panel for the climate control and a black/tan colour scheme. 

Other expected new features should include a 360-degree camera and probably a partial ADAS suite from the Venue. The rest of the kit – such as the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Bose sound system, connected car tech, wireless phone charger, and automatic climate control – will likely be carried forward.

2024 Kia Sonet Expected Price 

Kia is expected to announce prices of the 2024 Sonet sometime in early 2024. It could command a minor premium over the current model, which is priced from Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The Sonet will renew its rivalry with the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300 and Nissan Magnite.
