The Honda Elevate has received a facelift, which takes on rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, which continues to offer a wider choice of powertrains. While the Elevate sticks to a single powertrain option, the Creta also gets turbo-petrol and diesel options. However, both SUVs offer a feature-rich cabin, which we are going to take a closer look at.
The Creta is also due for a generational update, which is expected to be larger in size. Until then, how does the facelifted Elevate compare with the current Creta? Let's take a closer look at what each SUV offers.

The Hyundai Creta has a clear advantage in terms of convenience features. It features a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, compared to the Elevate's 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster. Both get a 10.25-inch touchscreen, but the Creta requires an adapter for wireless smartphone projection.

The Creta also gets larger 18-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof and an 8-speaker Bose sound system. The Elevate gets 17-inch alloy wheels, a single-pane sunroof and an 8-speaker audio system.
Both SUVs offer adaptive cruise control, powered front-row seats, ventilated front seats and a 360-degree camera. However, the Creta adds dual-zone automatic climate control, multi-drive modes and a cooled glovebox, which are not offered with the Elevate.

Both get six airbags, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors and Level-2 ADAS. The Creta additionally gets rain-sensing wipers and a tyre pressure monitoring system, while these features are not available with the Elevate.

Overall, the Creta offers more choice with three engine options. Its naturally aspirated petrol engine is suited to buyers who prefer a conventional petrol powertrain, while the turbo-petrol offers significantly more power and torque.
Its 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 116 PS and 250 Nm, and is available with both manual and automatic transmissions. Notably, the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol is the most powerful option in the Creta's powertrain lineup.

The Honda Elevate rivals cars like the Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Hyundai Bayon, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Renault Duster, Tata Sierra, MG Astor and Maruti Victoris.
The Honda Elevate and Hyundai Creta both offer a well-rounded compact SUV package, but they cater to slightly different priorities. The Honda Elevate makes sense if you want a straightforward SUV with a longer wheelbase. Its feature list includes modern equipment such as ventilated front-row seats, adaptive cruise control, and Level-2 ADAS. However, it misses out on some of the Creta's convenience features, such as a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and a fully digital driver's display.
The Hyundai Creta is the more versatile option overall. It starts at a lower price, offers three engine choices and gets additional features. Its turbo-petrol and diesel options also make it a better fit for buyers who want more powertrain flexibility. The trade-off is that its higher-spec variants cost more than the Elevate's top variant.
Our pick would be the Hyundai Creta for most buyers, thanks to its wider engine range, richer feature list and lower starting price.
