The Skoda Kushaq has booked over 10,000 units since its launch on June 28, 2021. Along with that, the Czech carmaker was quick to announce it will be introducing six airbags and tyre pressure monitoring in the top-spec Style AT and DSG variants in the coming weeks.
Currently, both the top-spec Style AT and DSG get only dual airbags and no tyre pressure monitoring while the Style MT features six airbags and a tyre pressure monitoring system. This led to a backlash as Skoda is skimping on safety features. But the Czech carmaker has responded to customers and will be offering these additional safety systems.
It remains to be seen if the latest development will affect the prices or not. Currently, the Kushaq 1-litre Style AT will set you back by Rs 15.80 lakh while the more powerful 1.5-litre will set you back by Rs 17.60 lakh.
