Bajaj Auto has revealed the specifications of the Platina 110 H-Gear in its BS6 avatar. The feature-packed commuter now gets fuel-injection and a larger cat-con which has led to some weight gain. Despite this, performance hasn’t taken a hit. If you’re planning on getting one, it’s only available in a single disc variant priced at Rs 59,802, a premium of Rs 3,431 over its corresponding BS4 model.

The Platina 110 H-Gear is powered by a BS6-compliant 115.45cc fuel-injected air-cooled single-cylinder engine which makes 8.6PS of power and 9.81Nm peak torque. That’s the same output as before. It also retains the same 5-speed transmission.

There’s no change in the hardware either, the bike continues to use the same suspension and braking setup as before. However, the added BS6 components have led to a weight gain of 3.5kg over the BS4 model.

The Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear is one of the most feature packed bikes in its segment. Highlights include a semi-digital instrument console with a gear shift and position, low battery and service due indicator. Aside from this, you also get a 5-speed transmission and a 240mm front disc brake with ASB (Anti Skid Braking) as standard. In terms of competition, the Platina 110 H Gear rivals the BS6 TVS Star City Plus and the Hero Splendor iSmart BS6.
