Hyundai India has taken the wraps off the 2020 Creta at Auto Expo. It’s larger than its predecessor and comes with Hyundai’s latest design language. In typical Hyundai fashion, it packs in more features making it more value for money. It’s slated to launch in 2020. Here’s more dope about the new Creta right from the floors of the expo:
Exterior Design:

In a departure from the first-gen’s no-nonsense design language, the 2020 Hyundai Creta’s exterior comes with a striking design. The front-end features Hyundai’s cascading grille flanked by split-LED headlamps. In profile, highlights include squared-out wheel arches and a prominent shoulder line running through the side. At the rear, though, the design might be a hit or a miss thanks to the split LED tail lamps. Further, the high-mounted brake lights are positioned just above the number plate.
Interior Design:

Hyundai had blacked-out the interior of the 2020 Creta during the unveiling. However, a closer look revealed certain details. For starters, it doesn’t come with the ix25’s touchscreen central console. The central console comes with touchscreen infotainment (possibly 8 inches), below which are the climate control knobs. It also gets a new four-spoke steering wheel.
Features:

The 2020 Hyundai Creta will feature Blue Link connected car technology, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, climate control, cruise control, and a panoramic sunroof. Further, it’ll also come with an electric parking brake and an auto hold function. Expected safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, as well as a rear view camera.
Engine Options:

The 2020 Hyundai Creta is based on the Seltos and will utilise its BS6-compliant 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engines. Apart from that, the 1.4-litre T-GDI motor is expected to join the lineup later. Here’s a detailed spec table:
