The third-generation 2024 Honda Amaze has been launched with prices ranging from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 10.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Packed with modern features and segment-first ADAS, it has generated significant buzz in the sub-compact sedan market, positioning itself as a strong rival to the new Maruti Dzire and the other existing competitors.
The Amaze is being offered in three variants: V, VX, and ZX. Here’s an in-depth look at what each of the three variants offers in terms of features:
14-inch steel wheels with covers
LED projector headlights with LED DRLs
LED taillights
Shark-fin antenna
Body-coloured ORVMs
8-inch touchscreen infotainment
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
7-inch semi digital driver’s display with MID
4-speaker sound system
Manual AC
Paddle shifters (CVT only)
6 Airbags
ABS with EBD
Electronic Stability Control
Hill start assist
ISOFIX child seat mounts
Rear parking sensors
15-inch alloy wheels
LED projector fog lights
Automatic headlight
Power foldable ORVMs
Automatic climate control
Wireless phone charger
Rear AC vents
Rear defogger
6-speaker sound system
Push-button start/stop

Lanewatch camera
Rear view camera
Level-1 ADAS
Cruise control
The Honda Amaze retains its 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine which gets mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT. This configuration is standard across the three available trims. The engine puts out 90 PS and 110 Nm.
The new-gen Honda Amaze has an introductory price tag ranging from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 10.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Mind it, that these prices will be valid till 45 days from the launch day. Bookings and test-drives are underway and deliveries will commence January 2025 onwards.
It should answer well against the challenge posed by the new-gen Maruti Dzire besides rivaling the other existing competitors like Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura.
