Are you planning to buy an electric scooter but worried about range anxiety? Well, India's best-selling EV maker Komaki has addressed this problem with its latest scooters, the SE and LY, which come with not only one but two batteries. The e-scooters have an impressive claimed range of up to 200km.
The Komaki SE and LY electric scooters offer a choice of three versions: Base, Dual, and Dual Pro. In the base variant, a single battery powers the scooter, while the Dual and Dual Pro variants boast dual batteries. This dual-battery configuration significantly enhances the scooter's range, surpassing that of other electric scooters in its segment available in the market.
The SE and LY electric scooters are driven by a 3kW hub motor each. Notably, the SE variant attains a top speed of 80kmph, while the LY variant reaches a slightly lower top speed of 60kmph.

These e-scooters provide a seamless experience with keyless operations and a range of smart features such as reverse assist, park assist, and cruise control. Both the SE and LY models come equipped with TFT instrument consoles featuring smartphone connectivity, offering functionalities like navigation, call alerts, and an integrated sound system. Both electric scooters come with three power modes along with regenerative braking. Moreover, they also get a key fob, providing convenient access to the scooters.
In terms of braking, the SE base variant relies on a front disc and a rear drum brake, ensuring effective stopping power. On the other hand, the Dual and Dual Pro variants of the SE boast disc brakes on both ends, whereas the LY variant comes with drum brakes across all its variants.

The SE Base variant, with a single battery, boasts a claimed range of 80-100km. It is priced at Rs 96,968, and serves as an entry point for those seeking electric mobility. Moving up the range, the SE Dual variant features dual batteries, extending the claimed range to an impressive 140-160km. This model is available for purchase starting from Rs 1,19,900. For those with a preference for an even greater range, the SE Dual Pro variant, also equipped with dual batteries, offers an extended claimed range of 160-200km and is priced at Rs 1,28,500.

The base variant of the LY also comes with a single battery, providing a claimed range of 80-100km and is attractively priced at Rs 78,000. For enhanced mileage, the LY Dual variant incorporates dual batteries, offering a claimed range of 140-160km. Available for a starting price of Rs 1,07,500. Finally, the LY Dual Pro variant, featuring a dual battery setup, surpasses expectations with a longer claimed range of 160-200km. It is priced at Rs 1,13,900 (all prices ex-showroom).
