Gets a boxy commuter design and looks closer to being production-ready

Bajaj CNG Bike Spied
It is no secret that Bajaj has been working on a CNG bike, and the test mule for the same has been spotted once again. But this story has one more interesting piece of information, i.e. the name of the upcoming Bajaj CNG bike.

Before we get into the name, let’s talk about what’s underneath, because as William Shakespeare said, “What’s In A Name?” Bajaj’s CNG bike has been spotted previously and by now we are aware of what it will feature. It has a distinct commuter design with boxy styling but a pretty sleek tail section. It gets some interesting elements too, like the extremely long mudguards and the supremely long single-piece seat. If you wish to know more about the design, you can head to our story here.

Bajaj Bruzer Trademark

So Bajaj recently trademarked the name ‘Bruzer’, and there is a possibility of the CNG bike bearing this title. Now the reason why I said “What’s in a name” earlier is because we would like to see beyond it, just because of how “interesting” and “sporty” the name sounds. Similar to bruiser, or brawler, or wrestler, is it not? Especially for a CNG bike, that could feature a 125cc engine.

From what can be seen in the spy shots, the CNG cylinder is likely to be placed under the long seat. Apart from that, the bike is suspended on a telescopic fork and monoshock setup, and features a front disc and rear drum brake.

When launched, which will be in the first quarter of FY2025, the Bajaj CNG bike will be the first of its kind in India. While it won’t have any direct rivals, it will face competition from 100-110cc fuel-efficient bikes such as Hero Splendor Plus, TVS Radeon, Honda Shine 100 and Bajaj Platina 110. It is likely to be priced around Rs 80,000.
