Moto Morini, an Italian brand owned by China’s Zhongneng Vehicle Group, has been brought to our country by Adishwar Auto Ride India. The company has reduced the ex-showroom prices of its two models, 650 Scrambler and 650 Retro Street by Rs 1.9 lakh and Rs 2 lakh, respectively.
Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 650 Scrambler
The Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 650 Scrambler was priced earlier at Rs 7,10,000 now costs Rs 5,20,000 ( ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine making 60.8PS and 54Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Underpinnings on the bike include an inverted telescopic fork and a monoshock. Meanwhile, braking is handled by twin 298mm discs up front and a 255mm single disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS. It rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels wrapped around with block-pattern tyres. The bike has 170mm of ground clearance.

Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 650 Retro Street
The Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 650 Retro Street is now priced at Rs 4,99,000 and was earlier priced at Rs 6,99,000 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). It shares the same underpinnings as the Scrambler but replaces the spoke wheels for alloys.

ZigSays
The new revised prices of the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 650 models will make them more approachable to newer customers in India. The company is relatively new in India as compared to its rivals. It has about 42 touchpoints spread across the country, which is fairly decent for a brand new bikemaker in India. With the price cuts, they’re the next most affordable 650cc bikes after the Royal Enfield 650cc range and the BSA Gold Star 650. Interestingly, the two Moto Morinis are now the most affordable parallel-twin liquid-cooled 650cc bikes in India.
Credit where due, it’s commendable that the brand has reduced the prices by more than 25 percent on both the bikes. Very rarely do we get such kinds of reductions. Only time will tell if this helps the brand gain more popularity.
