Now that we have our hands on all the details of the newly-launched Mahindra XUV 7XO, you would be waiting to know if it is indeed as good as it looks like. But before you go ahead and bring one home, here is our list of the Top 5 things that we love about Mahindra’s flagship SUV:
Under the hood, the XUV 7XO is offered with a choice of 2-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, both of which come mated to manual and automatic gearbox options, thus catering to a wide range of buyers. Combine these with impressive performance figures, and you have an SUV that is genuinely fun-to-drive, and does not feel strained even with a full load of passengers and luggage.

For the more adventurous lot, the XUV 7XO also offers an optional all-wheel drive system with the diesel engine, just enhancing its capability further, even when venturing off the tarmac.
With this facelift, Mahindra has gone ahead and given the XUV 7XO a proper upgrade in terms of the safety equipment onboard. Equipment such as 7 airbags, an enhanced Level 2 ADAS suite, electronic stability control, 540-degree surround view camera, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, traction control, hill hold assist and front and rear parking sensors ensures that you and your family remain safe on our dangerous roads.

Another ground-breaking technology that debuts in the XUV 7XO is the DAVINCI dampers, which improve the ride quality and high-speed stability by a big margin over the pre-facelift version. An improved version of the Frequency-dependent dampers that were offered previously, this new suspension offers a superb balance of plushness at low speeds and a flat ride when cruising on the highway at higher speeds.

Sit inside the XUV 7XO, and you instantly have a feeling of being pampered in luxury with top-class materials and a sleek design language taking the centre-stage. Part of this has to do with the three-screen layout and the new dashboard, along with the new dual-tone white-brown colour scheme, elevating the cabin feel in a major way.

Then, you also see the extensive use of soft-touch materials, multi-colour ambient lighting and the massive panoramic sunroof, all of which add to the upgrade, especially for rear seat occupants. Notably, Mahindra also offers optional captain seats for the second row, which will be appreciated by chauffeur-driven customers.
Going by Mahindra’s recent product launches, it is no surprise that the XUV 7XO gets a very long list of cutting-edge features.

Starting from the three 12.3-inch screens stacked up front to the 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, front and rear ventilated seats, electric ‘Boss mode’, front and rear wireless chargers with active cooling, dual-zone climate control and AdrenoX connected car technology with built-in ChatGPT and Alexa, it has all you could wish for and then some more!

The XUV 7XO is here, and it has already shaken up the segment. It continues to build upon the legacy of the XUV brand by offering class-leading performance, features and quality that honestly feel like those from cars a segment or two above. And pair that with the competitive pricing, and you have a compelling package that no buyer in this segment can ignore.
