There has been an influx of electric scooters and motorcycles in Europe recently and the latest one is the Bravo GLE from Spanish bikemaker Ebroh. It is a sporty looking electric motorcycle that comes at half the price of other specialist electric motorcycles like the Cake Kalk or the Royal Enfield lookalike RGNT No. 1 electric bike.
The Ebroh Bravo GLE is quite a looker thanks to its muscular bodywork. It is in fact almost as large as the recently launched 2020 Kawasaki Z650. It gets an LED projector headlamp, LED tail lamp and LED turn indicators along with a digital instrument console. Build quality appears to be more Chinese than European, and the motorcycle comes in three colours -- blue, black and red.

The Bravo GLE gets a 5kW brushless hub-mounted electric motor which helps it reach a claimed top speed of 110kmph. Expect performance equivalent to 125cc electric motorcycles. Power comes from a 5.4kWh lithium-ion battery pack that delivers a range of upto 100km. It takes around 5 hours to fully charge.
Underpinnings include a tubular frame with a conventional front fork and a monoshock. It gets different styled alloy wheels at both ends. Braking is via dual disc brakes at the front and a single rear disc brake with CBS as standard fitment.

While the Ebroh Bravo GLE is one of the most affordable full-size electric motorcycles available in Europe, we doubt it would find any takers in India given the price after currency conversion and taxes. While the Revolt RV400 and RV 300 are the only electric motorcycles available in India, we will soon be getting exciting electric sports bikes like the Ultraviolette F77, Emflux One and Emflux Two here.
