The much-anticipated MG Majestor is all set to break cover early next month! And now that we have an official confirmation of the unveil timelines, here is a look at what we expect it to be like:
MG Motor India has now officially confirmed that it will be unveiling its all-new flagship SUV on February 12, with a launch expected to follow soon. Essentially an upgraded and heavily refreshed version of the Gloster, it will come with a fresh interior and new features besides the new exterior design which we have seen previously at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.

The exterior of the Majestor now becomes a lot more aggressive compared to the Gloster. At the front, there is a massive gloss-black grille with slim LED DRLs and a vertically-stacked headlamp cluster in the bumper. We can also see a chunky skid plate at the bottom for a tough look.
Towards the side profile, the Gloster resemblance is apparent with a long, flat bonnet and a sharp shoulder line along with thick cladding. The Majestor is likely to feature new 19-inch alloy wheels too.
The rear-end styling of the Majestor also features exaggerated elements like thick cladding on the bumper, a chunky skid plate and vertical reflectors. It also gets a new connected LED taillamp cluster and prominent ‘MAJESTOR’ badging on the tailgate, which enhances its road presence.

MG has not revealed the interior of the Majestor yet. However, spy shots have confirmed that it will come with an all-new dashboard layout with new upholstery and colour themes inside. It could also feature 6 and 7-seat layouts inside, with optional captain seats for the second row, just like the Gloster.

The equipment list of the Majestor is expected to include a bunch of cutting-edge technology. It could include features like a dual-screen setup inside for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, powered, heated and massaging front seats, premium sound system, three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, multiple wireless phone chargers and ambient lighting.
The Majestor’s safety suite is likely to feature Level 2 ADAS, 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors.
Under the hood, we expect the Majestor to continue with the same powertrain options from the Gloster, which include 2-litre turbo-diesel and twin-turbo diesel options. It could also be equipped with an optional four-wheel drive system to enhance its off-road credentials.

Here are the expected specifications of these powertrains:
|

*Expected figures
With the unveiling set for February 12, the Majestor is likely to be launched soon after. It could be sold via the MG Select sales channel and is likely to be priced from Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).

When on sale, it will compete with other full size SUVs such as the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and the upcoming Volkswagen Tayron.
With MG’s ambitious India plans in place, the Majestor will play a key role by plugging a major gap in its overall portfolio. Set to be positioned above the Gloster, the powerful engines, rugged underpinnings and the massive suite of features could all prove to be important in the Majestor’s fight against other established players in this segment.
