Key Things to Know about Fortuner Legender

Upside
  • Looks, road presence, cabin experience are all a notch up on the regular Fortuner
  • Wireless charger, hands-free tailgate and ventilated front seats are exclusive to this flagship
  • Now with 4x4 variant too
Downside
  • Pricey, No Sunroof, No 11-speaker JBL sound system that the standard 4x4 variant gets
Expert's Conclusion

The Legender plays the exclusivity card. Aside from the few exclusive features, the Legender promises little real value over the regular Fortuner. This should mean smaller numbers on the road and at the same time all the more reason for it to be the exclusive flagship it is

The Toyota Fortuner is a full-size SUV known for its robust build, powerful performance, and strong road1presence. It’s widely loved for long-distance driving, off road ability, and Toyota’s long-term1reliability reputation but it comes at a premium price and lacks some features found in rivals.

We were really impressed with Toyota service from the experience of the Liva. Plus the Fortuner is a brand on1its own.BHPian kanwar_26 recently shared this with other enthusiasts.Hello everyone,This is an ownership post1about getting my new Toyota Fortuner Legender 4x4.After a recent road trip from Ahmedabad to Bangalore, we1felt the need to add an SUV to our garage. Although the Honda City AT is doing a good job, but after being1exposed to unpredictable road conditions, we decided that an SUV would be a better choice for long1journeys.Likes and dislikes of the Toyota Fortuner Legender 4x4 AT:Likes:Toyota's after-sales and1service.Solid build quality.High ground clearance.On-road presence, sometimes other people give you the way,1and other times they want to race.Long-range (large fuel tank) approx 750 km per tank.Ride quality once I1reduced the tire pressure to 29 psi.Superb engine, you feel the pull when accelerating and it effortlessly1gains speed despite the size of the car.Dislikes:Many features (ADAS, rear window sunshades, etc) are not on1offer considering the price. The plastic quality of the keyfob could have been better.3rd row could have been1powered.Lack of auto wiper function.Don't understand why boot lamp and number plate lights are yellow-colored1bulbs rather than white LEDs.Lack of grab handle for getting into the second row.

Great car.Absence of sunroof is actually good because sunroof is bad ! it has sufficient features but kick-operated powered tailgate and ventilated seats are my favourites.
