The new MG Majestor has finally made its India debut and between all the changes compared to the Gloster that it is based on, is a heavily refreshed design with a rugged and tough personality. But does the colour palette go well with this design? Here are all the 4 colours offered detailed in images:
As the name suggests, the Concrete Grey paint scheme lends a tough look to the bold character of the Majestor’s design. The slate-like colour is a nice contrast to the piano black finish on the grille, window surrounds, and the lower body cladding. The paint option has an understated appeal, and won’t attract too much attention, although missing a five-metre-long SUV on the road would take some special effort.

For those who like the all-black look, the Black Metal colour is the one to go for. Offering a ‘Gangsta’ vibe on the Majestor, this colour scheme blends with the other blacked-out elements, while the chrome-finished alloy wheels serve as a nice contrast to the paint option. The blacked-out Majestor should be on your list, if you are looking to make a power statement.

The other dark colour option available on the palette, the Metal Ash shade is lighter than the all-black colour, and blends in rather well. This is the shade to go for when you want something unique, but understated. If you are looking to hit the off-road trails more often, this might just be the colour for you, given that it masks minor scratches well.

Nothing says power better than a white SUV. The popularity of the white shade on the Toyota Fortuner stands testament to this, and the MG Majestor will benefit from the same. The all-white colour stands out for a nice contrast over the black styling elements. It’s truly a classic combo that clearly has universal appeal. Just what you need to mark your arrival then?

MG has ensured that the Majestor does indeed have a great deal of road presence with its bold and aggressive look, and its colour palette too reflects this sentiment. However, while the brand has covered most of the crowd-favourite hues, we wish it also offered some more exciting and distinct colours, along with dual-tone options for that extra bit of pizzazz!
